we had these injections at school yesterday for polio and tetnaus,my arm really hurts,does anyone know how long the pain will last.

i had them last year. i was like panicing my head off and then got a shcock because it didn't hurt me that much. your arm will be a bit sore for about a week, but it's better then getting tetenus, polio or dyphteria.

No very long....I remember when i had mine, and the guy next to me hated needles, and the needle snapped in his arm!!! Yukk!

Nothing to worry about tho hun, its like a bruise and it will go away within a few days. It will be a littel tender and may even swell. Im positive that its normal for it to hurt for a a wee while

a few days

try warm compresses through this afternoon then ice or cool compresses till tomorrow

also, you can take tylenol or some non-aspirin containing product

it wont hurt for long, mine felt really heavy and sore for a couple of days but it should definitley go by then!

it shouldnt last longer than a week but if it does - get it checked out!
