Miyoko, i'm no longer an atheist, yet I ain't a Christian both. the right thanks to pronounce that action picture is to insert the note "the" in the front of the note Christ!... it really is going to be stated thusly... "pastime of the Christ", or "pastime of Jesus the Christ"!! many years in the past i became raised in a authentic orthodox Catholic/Christian kin. not in any respect understood why Christians can't even get Jesus' call and call proper? "Christ" isn't a very last call! it really is a attractiveness or rank or type. "Christ" is a Greek note which skill "messiah" or "anointed" or "prodigy"!! It do not recommend very best being, or divine, and for confident, it ain't a very last call!!! In different words, you could say 'Christ Jesus', or 'Jesus the Christ'; in spite of the indisputable fact that it really is misguided English to assert, Jesus Christ!! again, 'Christ' is a attractiveness, no longer a very last call! feels like you Christians might want to a minimum of get that proper? again, I ain't an atheist, yet I view Jesus of Galilee, diverse than Christians.. 2 causes i did not see Gibson's action picture. i'm already very responsive to the 4 canonical variations of that execution. Secondly, I understand the total action picture became contained in the historic Aramaic language? i do not communicate that out of date language! contained in the gospels, they verify with Jesus because the "note"... Of what would I glean, only gazing a brutal Roman crucifixion?

The Passion of the Christ was very accurate, both in its Biblical Content, but also in Depicting what happens in a Roman Execution.

I'm sure Jesus was behind the making of The Passion of the Christ. It was very compelling, and helped many understand some of what He went through for us.

That depends on if you believe that the Passion of the Christ is an accurate depiction of the crucifixion.

Personally I believe that he would be like - "Who do these people think I am? I'm a prophet. Why do they assume that I have magical powers? I never claimed to possess such powers Where is my wife, Mary and why do they keep saying that she was a prostitute?"

If I where a Christian and believed that this was an accurate record of what happened, I would think that Jesus would be STRONGLY offended that this film was used to make a LARGE profit off of his suffering and sacrafice.

I think he would be sad knowing that Christian churches spend more time talking about a movie than the Bible on Christmas and Easter.

I think he would be surprised to see a wife and baby in the picture too.

I think He'd gently correct the Catholic beliefs inserted into it; He'd also question the weird demon holding an ugly baby thing; plus, the scorging scene showed way too many strokes being given.

Overall, I think He'd approve since it really woke up a lot of people who'd gotten numb to the reality of what He went through to save them.

Peace.

Any person who watched that piece of shite should have recognized it as overblown, sensational tripe. It was standard Mel Gibson fare, replete with violence and gore...however Mad Max is the hot mess!
