it kind of depends what he's doing during the 2 hours. 2 possible reasons- 1) this is his way of relaxing after a difficult day
2) he has ocd= obsessive compulsive disorder.
...it usually starts with anxiety over something...like maybe he's worried that he is not getting clean enough from just a shower. then it progresses to him creating some kind of ritual...which takes him 2 hours to complete. ocd is not necessarily bad...only bad if it prevents him from accomplishing things he needs to do in his life (like taking care of you, keeping a job, having friends, maintaining the house, etc.)

He could be doing anything in the bathroom. Your guess is as good as mine.
To force myself into time off from my busy schedule, sometimes I love you to soak in a nice warm bath for awhile. To pass the time, I might read a book, magazine or look through a catalog.
If I were you, I'd simply ask the guy what he does in there for so long. 2 hours is a long time. Hopefully he's not taking a nap. I've known people who have fallen asleep and slipped under the water. They inhaled water and almost drowned.

If this is a habit that he does everyday it has probably become a ritual with him, It sounds like he may have a case of obsessive compulsive disorder. Some people with OCD will not leave the mirror until hair is in place. They are so obsessed with what they look like that they can't leave until everything is perfect. Then some people with OCD are afraid of germs. Maybe he doesn't feel clean enough until he has washed his body about 10 times or something, Sounds like he may have OCD to me though. I have it too. maybe he likes to relax. the longest shower ive ever taken was 40 minutes long, but it was after a long day. your boyfriend might be a little stressed at times, so long showers are the cure to that.

He probably spends a good 30min masturbating in the bathroom like most guys do. As for the other 1hr 30min he probably cleans off and shaves.

I agree. OCD. Even if he was masturbating it wouldn't take 2 hours everyday.

maybe it's his way of relaxing. i enjoy long baths (usually 1 - 1.5 hour) they are very calming. if he's not shirking any duties around his house, what's the big problem???

Only he can asnwer that... But I gotta tell you that sometimes they just need the time to unwind.. My fiancee uses to relax and unwind or start his day...
