I woke up later than I expected this morning; I told myself last night that I'd get up as earlier than 9:00. I was getting ready to go to a staffing agency for an interview, then I unconsciously became moody and it's like my mind couldn't focus. I knew I was having a negative feeling, and I was trying to think of ways to get out of it. I decided not to go, because I didn't feel like going. I also need to call someone for an interview, but I let several hours passed before I called the company because I needed to prepare for it and that I was taking time to recover.

Honestly, I don't think you really wanted to go to this interview, so blow it off, kick your feet up and have a good glass of wine. when you are ready to interview, you'll know it, but find the right interview your really want. In the mean time, it wouldn't hurt to get up and go, just so you can get some practice until the right one comes along. Good luck!

If you are having mood swings and putting things off as important as a job you may want to see a Psychiatrist to see if you are Bipolar or not. Those of us with Bipolar disorder have moods that shift from high gear where we feel euphoric and then all of a sudden the world is falling apart and we can't find anything that will help prove to us that it isn't. You sound like you may be a little depressed too. Sometimes that comes with a manic low too. If I were you I would seriously go see a Psychiatrist to see if he can give you a helping hand. Good Luck and God Bless you.

I'm not forcing my beliefs on you, but first, I pray. I also think EVERYTHING positive, rather than focusing on whatever is causing me to be moody, it'll only keep holding you down and prevent you from focusing on anything. At least you're aware that you do this and you WANT to let the negativities be gone, that's a positive step. You'll be fine. We've all had days like this, just take your time, figure out what you have to do to make up for this day, and do it when your mind is free and clear of anything holding you back.

This is truly the STORY of my life! Sounds to me like you need a little get up and go! and what you did have has got up and left. I think you really need to think about what it is you really want to do, such as career wise. Sounds like you are unsure and unconfident. When I was job searching everyday was that day. Just think about your potential and what you want to do. If you get up and don't feel good don't dwell in it it will only make it worse
1) Jump in the shower IMMEDIATELY, that way you will wake up!
2)get some kind of caffeine or protein energy in your system
3)Be Confident

Good luck!

I am sure that everyone gets moody sometime. I do. If I can, I go for a walk in the woods, and get my mind off of what has put me into a bad mood. I find a chore that I need to do and do it. Getting something accomplished puts me in a better mood. Doing something for someone also puts me in a better mood. Don't torture yourself..... Good luck.

You are going through procrastination. One thing I have learned about myself, that if I really don't want to do it, I shouldn't plan to. I normally make plans and then when the time comes to go or do them, I don't want to and will make any excuse possible to get out of it. Something I am learned and focused on myself is that I shouldn't have planned for it, like your job, if it isn't something you like to do or want to do, you will think of anything to call off or not go in....so I found if you don't think you will stick to it, don't plan for it. Over time it works out great.

You may be suffering from a form of anxiety that translates into depression and avoidance. In any case and in your case, if you are in need of a job, avoiding these appointments and these plans will only aggravate your condition. What is causing your anxiety? That is one place to begin.
