She's a black and white 'moggy' only kitten in litter. Her mother was tiny and her dad a huge b/w alley cat, quite wild!!
She'd never liked the 'top' brand iams etc, hates whiskas stuff, loves felix, not supermeat though. She eats 400g of tined each day, plus 100g of gocat complete, greeds titbits, steals fromthe dog's bowl too if he dares to have a snooze!. Loves chips and raw potatoes and will only drink from a running tap, never from a bowl.
She is lean, fit, playful, murders and tortures the local mice, frogs, spiders and birds. Bites me all the time, doesn't break the skin,.
She doesn't have worms and has no dental tartar at all.
Oh, and we had her spayed at six months cos she jumped out of the bedroom window looking for boys!
Is she the devil?

No, unfortunately she is not the devil. But there is a 5000 year old myth that is read, " 1 soul shall be trapped in a body of hair, and never age until it is 13, this soul is be eat mice, frogs and birds for all of its being"
Now i dont know if this is anything related to your cat put you can look it up on google if you want to. try it.

You've just described my wee Matt ( so small when we got her we called her Matt Black cos too young to sex), albeit she's 12, and jet Black. A fiend, as my husband refers to her. Takes a mad fit every couple o days and races round the house (taking corners sideways), and will happily drink beer from your glass, and steal beef and chicken from your curry when your not paying attention.... Does make for a stinky litter tray mind you.
You should be proud that you have a perfectly healthy gal there, and you did a fine job getting her there. As for being in her prime, bang on. If she was a human feline, (!) she'd be out looking for a toy boy to keep up with her!

Be gratefull and adore her,it sounds like you do anyway as she sounds fun. My old black and white boy finally stopped hunting when he was 19.He died aged 22.Much loved.Happy memories though.
I have a 5 yr old tom.He loves to hunt and is a supreme mouser.Loves a treat of raw bacon and adores cheese. And he is quite happy to fall asleep in my arms.
Some cats dont seem to show the signs of aging that we expect from humans. She sounds healthy and loved.Well done.

I doubt she is the devil.
She does not appear to be aging because she is very happy, active and healthy.
I have 4 cats aged: 16, 15, 14 & 14. To watch them you would think they were 2 yr old kittens. They still leap, lump and play all the time.
Keep up what you're doing, your cat is healthy and happy!

You might not like my answer but I am glad to say that the reason is that you take such very good care of your cat. She is happy, in great health and active and surrounded by what I see as a very good and caring care giver. She owns you! And she loves you for it! Keep it up my friend and she might live to be a very old cat indeed! My girl who resembles your just passed away after a nice long healthy 26 years life of doing all that your is doing. We miss her terribly but she brought us such joy for so many years. We were very lucky. I hope you are as lucky as I was. Enjoy each little nip she takes… they are little love bites!

Your cat simply is a typical housecat. Most housecats don't start showing signs of aging until they are 14-18 years old, some even older! Be happy your kitty is so lively in the double digits!

She's just healthy and well cared-for. Most animals do not live too long after their reproductive years, and they don't usually last long after they begin to show the physical deterioratin of ageing. They simply aren't born to do that, unlike humans. However, with good care, pets can still enjoy extended lifespans and it is a compliment to your care that she is still lively and happy. My 14-year-old Siamese male has hardly slowed down at all, and he still plays with all his favorite kitty toys and has at least as much fun as he did as a kitten.

you'll will do no harm. i became afraid you've been thinking feeding your senior cat and kitten an same foodstuff complete time. they regularly decrease the protein contained in the senior foodstuff (for absolutely no reason supported by skill of any sturdy analyze). So the kitten desires the utmost high quality protein you could feed him. attempt Felidae, organic stability, Lick Your Chops, Avoderm, Innova, Prairie, by skill of Nature's organic and organic for canned ingredients - completely fantastic and outfitted to a cat or a kitten.
