Yes , Without a Doubt , the same as I would Jail those who preach Death and Destruction to our Citizens , and their recruiting of Suicide Bombers , Training and Radicalizing within these mosque,s and other so called "Religious Buildings" I would also make a Priority of removing many of these vile trouble makers from our country . Making sure that they realise Great Britain will NEVER, EVER Become a "State of Islam" and their Rotten , War Mongering so called "Religious Leaders" are not welcome in our country , in fact they are not welcome anywhere in the "Free World"

No -- In the USA we DO have freedom of religion.

Interestly enough though-- there were protests in a Detroit area where Mosques were being built. The issue was over "call to prayer" being broadcast over a loudspeaker. this area was traditinonally Polish and Catholic. But in recent years it has been an area where people from other countries (e.g. India, Pakistan and countries will man muslims) have been moving.

I don't think the muslims are really 'evil' per se, therefore I have no problem with them building a place of worship. But, like anything else, different religions are one more influence from other countries that can cause problems. Also, anyone practicing ANY religion and giving out hostile rhetoric is something to be leery of....put DOWN the religious literature, and SLOWLY back away! LOLOL

If I beleived there were NEVER going to be any fundamentalists preaching terrorism and recruiting terrorists then I would not have a problem with a nearby mosque.
Until those public and influential in the Muslim community do more to show that they are against terrorism and root out the fundamentalist and terror supporters within their midst I would not be comfortable.
It is in the hands of the Muslim community to change a worsening public opinion of them.

My very best friend in the whole wide world is a Muslim. I've even been to some of their prayers (they sound so cool). I believe in metaphysics, so their religion doesn't attract me beyond culturally, however I trully believe that "justice and liberty for all" means, you're in your right to protest, but they're in the right to build it as well. A riot is just ignorance, so instead you might want to have a decent public chat with some of your street's residents and their priests. That way they don't feel discriminated and you don't feel threatened. Take lots of care and feel compassion for the rest of the world who's not like you.

No, not riot unless it was next door to me and was too noisy and people crowding the street parking is a nightmare as it is, church on sunday round here seems to give people a holy right to park where they want and think you dont exist.

satan.

Once I signed a petition to have a cultural center built in my area. Moments later on signing someone told me it was for a Mosque in my area. Now I don't have any disagreements with that but they didn't have to lie to get my signature. I would have signed anyways.

NO! Its religous freedom. You should not be racist against how other people pray. Better them being religious than out killing people, which is the problem with a lot of people these days. They have faith in nothing so whats the difference to them if you are dead or alive.

Good grief no. Freedom of religion was one of the reasons this country was founded. They did not mean just the Christian religion. We can learn from all religions. I can think of worse things to have in my neighborhood then a mosque!

Absolutely not. Freedom of religion and association are part of a democratic system. Democracy isn't about the rule of the majority, but representation of minorities, whoever they be.
