I would love to know where you get theese strange ideas from Moses didnt work on the Bible he wrote the first 5 books of the Bible under divine inspiration much like a secretary takes dictation and while the Bible is not a science text book when it touches on science it has always been 100% accurate sometimes milleniums ahead of the science of the day for example the supposedly wise men of their day thought the earth was flat and if you sailed far enough you would fall off the earth and yet 3500 yrs ago before the invention of the telescope ect the Bible accurately said the earth was a sphere Job 26:10 , and Isa 40 :22 so it always best to know the facts before drawing wrong conclussions Gorbalizer

Because it was not intented to be a scientific treatise. Moses by the way, didn't write the bible, The bible is a collection of books from different authors and sources over a stretched period of time of about 2000 years. It is more the work of oral tradition and moralistic-philosophical andhistorical incumbency rather than "scientific".
Science as a structured discipline to acquire knowledge on empirical basis barely started in Greece about 300 BC and stopped, then retook momentum towards the enlightment era, untill today.
to demand the bible to be "accurate" is like asking that "Moby dick" gives accurate information about the whale and circumstances it ocurred with reliable sources and so on. See?

here is my opinion, in accordance with comparing Scripture with Scripture and additionally from analyzing quite a few books on the venture. a million, Paul wrote a million Thessalonians quite early, probable 5-10 years till now the Corinthian letters. In a million Thessalonians, the context of financial ruin 4 is the believing lifeless whose bodies "slept" in the floor. What Paul wrote in a million Thessalonians 4:sixteen is honestly suited--while Jesus returns, in the air, for His saints, the lifeless will upward push first, and, in accordance to the subsequent verse, we who're alive and final will connect them, and that enables you to be with the Lord continually. Did you study the subsequent quite a few verses, or the completed context? 2. Now in 2 Corinthians 5, Paul is discussing the guy believer and what occurs while a believer dies. The believer is going to be with the Lord. lower back, i'm beneficial you observed the verse that reported if Paul replace into absent from the Lord, he replace into in the physique, etc. So there is not any contradiction, those verses replicate 2 distinctive aspects of a believer's demise, could a believer die till now the Rapture. The physique is going into the floor and the soul/spirit is going to be with the Lord. while the Rapture comes, the physique is raised, and joined to the soul and spirit, and is going to Heaven.

When you were present at creation ... oh wait a minute ... you weren't were you!!! So ... all you have is a theory ... isn't that right? And yet, you look down your nose at Christians as if they are crazy for 'believing' in something when it takes more faith to believe that man came from a monkey, which came from some tadpole, which walked out of the ocean that developed from a collection of elements caused by some cosmic accident that is statistically impossible! There you go jimmy boy, take that into consideration.

The Bible is neither a science text or a history book, although it contains elements of both. It is a guidebook, however, on how to live a proper life both with regards to God and with regards to man.

Because accounts of events were just that-written accounts.
Science didn't exist as a form of recording events.
