Let us assume for a moment, that there is in fact the Christian God. Let us further assume that the Bible is an accurate record of events. Let us further assume that Satan is real, and that logic and reason and science are tools he uses,
so for example, carbon dating, what if that is Satan, what if Satan was using his appendage to play with the needle, to purposefully confuse mankind, to seperate us from God.
So what test would we be able to run to see if we are pawns of Satan? What do you propose we do?
Is Satan, using his appendages, to confuse our brain, so we don't see the obvious, that there is a God? Do we look at baby's faces and does Satan put up a mask so that we don't see God?
What test could we run? Could we collectively pray to Jesus for him to heal amputees, to glorify Jesus, sincerely pray in Jesus's name?

I think that if we were to assume a God existed and that our scientific data was being manipulated by an appendage, we would have to assume it was someone other than Satan doing it. Nowhere in the bible does it mention Satan and his appendages, but I seem to remember hearing of another deity that like to do this. I'm pretty sure there is documented evidence of someone else using certain noodly appendages to skew our data.

Given your unlikely assumptions; that God exists, the Bible is accurate, and Satan is real. Let's pretend that this is so, and we are being deceived by Satan. The first thing that would come to my mind is, why is Satan doing this? What purpose does it serve? It (this behaviour) doesn't cause people to want to worship Satan, and doesn't appear to bring any benefit to Satan. The next question that would occur to me is, why would God allow this to happen? Why does God allow Satan to have such great power? Does it serve God in some manner, or is God powerless to stop Satan from doing what he's doing? If God allows this deceit to occur when He has the power to stop it, then God is party to Satan's evil deeds. If God is powerless to stop Satan, then it indicates that God is limited in power and not infallable. In either case, it would demonstrate that the Bible is not accurate at all, and at that, the game of Let's Pretend must come to an end.

Riiiiight. So we have an omnipotent, all-powerful god that does nothing to prove himself, but let's his "weaker" alter ego to go all out to confuse us. Oh wait, it's a test, really!
Science is a lot more than carbon dating, boy. Tosay that means all of reality is an illusion, though personally I believe it is to an extent, but not how you are putting it. So Satan can screw with god's reality all he wants. Real strong god you got there, but then again he enjoy's human misery. Also, this theory would go against common sense since that means Satan could camafouge the bible or make it so all worship Him, so you could be worshipping the Devil right now. Like that? :D Actually, I'm a Satan worshipper, and he doesn't need to screw with the world to get the point across that he's superior to a false god like Jehova.

A Babel fish is babblefish translations; a highly improbable biological universal translator. It appears as a "small, yellow and leechlike" fish. When a Babel fish is inserted into the ear canal it allows the wearer to "instantly babblefish translater understand anything said... in any form of language." This was both a useful plot device for Adams, who wrote on the subject bubblefish bob that he always found the bablefish translations ability of all aliens to speak English very strange; and also the alta vista bablefish starting point for a joke about the existence of God.
Kapeesh?

So you're suggesting we should fake it just to make sure? That's Christian logic! Crazy talk!
If I am a pawn of Satan, Satan is a pretty nice person. Otherwise why would he use me to help rape victims 40 hours a week, barely making enough to pay my bills. And why would he have me start a non-profit organization for people with Multiple Sclerosis. That crazy devil. I'm sure God is quite ticked at me.

There is one thing that satan could never touch, corrupt or desroy, and that is the absolutes. Peace, love, compassion, forgiveness. These are virtues that will never be corrupted by man or satan. He might tempt the people but he will never do away with the absolutes. As long as they exist people have the power to look away from temptation and free themselves from the grasp of sin. Focus on this and satan will never have you.

My test would be to pray to god to give me the wisdom and/or strength that I would need to combat Satan's manipulations.
I performed this test many years ago... and god got an F.
And for those doubting my sincerity, I can only assure you that I was sincere. I was a Christian at the time, and fighting like mad to stay one...

i hit upon no reason to think of that 'supernatural' is something yet equivalent to 'blind to causation'. To human beings interior the 1st millennium, lightning replaced into supernatural; we now understand that there is a superbly organic reason. To human beings interior the fourteenth century, a void in area from which even gentle can not get away could be supernatural; we now understand that black holes are a phenomenon defined by physics. To us, the technologies of the 0.33 millennium could probably look supernatural. you're making the declare that a 'supernatural' being you call God exists. because i hit upon no data that considered one of those set of phenomena, which exist outdoors of nature, are present quite, then I ask which you furnish some data to back up your declare, because of the fact so a techniques i've got chanced on no longer something it is outdoors the reason of super judgment and reason - in basic terms 'causatives' that are outdoors my modern expertise.

Well, to assume all of that, I would be in a fantasy land so bizarre that it would cause even the likes of Walt Disney to blush...I know he is no longer alive, but since I am in an absolute fantasy land with all your uneven assumptions, Walt can run to the store when the party runs out of ice...what a confusing portrait you paint.

There is a scripture that says if you tell Satan to go away in Jesus name than he goes away. Wouldn't that be sufficient to save science?
