That's why I'm glad to be a Muslim.
There's no original sin, there's no begotten son, and there's no killing of God's begotten son to save humanity.
It makes no sense at all and it is the major problem with christianity.
Christians are making god animal-like and forcing him to follow laws that he doesn't have to!
With that said, I believe the Bible has the word of God in it. But Christians need to stop making new versions and throwing out chapters at random. How many denominations are there now? 3000?

First of all , there was no earth, In the beginning there was God. Time doesn't really exist, it was put into place for our little brains to have a framework in which to exist.
As for the earth's age, that is so not a proven science. There are people who have proven how inaccurate our dating system is with evidence gained during the Mt St. Helens eruption and subsequent mudslides.

You will have to show me evidence of man before the appearance of liquid water on this planet.. For before the sun before the first star there was God. God is the controller that directed the creation not only of this world but of the myriad of galaxies that fill the reaches of space. And where was man when this was happening? We believe what the Bible teaches. It's a decision that you have to make for yourself- nobody can force you to believe this. I'm a Christian, and I choose to have faith in God and the Bible. Some disagree with this way of thinking, but you have to be like a child- taking a leap of faith and believing and trusting in Jesus and what He teaches through the Bible.
We choose to believe the Bible just like you choose to believe science books. People criticize the Bible because it was written by humans....but, let's see...the last time I checked, science books were written by humans too. The only difference is that science books were written by humans ALONE. The Bible's authors were divinely inspired by God. You have to choose what to believe. No one can make that decision for you. And BTW, why are you criticizing what we believe so much? We choose to believe what we do, you have that same option. Just because our beliefs don't mesh doesn't mean we (or you) deserve to be bashed because of it.

i a muslim and i truly agree with aliasasim..Jesus was not God's son..he is a messenger to God.
And by the way..why cant you think deep down inside your BRAIN (which was designed and created by God to Humans so human can be different to animals )

it's a long story. But jesus was preset after the second sin. the first sin was the devil wanted to be god, the second sin is the devil made adam eat from tree god told not eat from. then thats when everything turned bad. thats jesus was preset to come after man was already where.
