OK if it's not your first language I can understand, but most people use their regional yahoo domain e.g answers.yahoo.fr for France.

Some are just completely baffling with the actual question completely obfuscated by English so badly that a monkey and a typewriter could have made more sense.

Also, most are just posted in completely the wrong category. Programming and Design is a particularly bad offender. Asking opionions of how your website looks or why your computer doesn't have sound has absolutely nothing to do with programming.

If you are one of those people, I'd highly recommend:
dictionary.com http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/ google.com
I wonder how many 'Yahooers' have ended up on http://www.engrish.com/

I understand my own English isn't perfect, but I wasn't just talking about grammatical technicalities as not many people are even taught grammar in school anyway (I wasn't). However much the nitpickers here criticise my question, it is perfectly clear what I was trying to communicate. Just about any computer will have a spell checker and there are plenty of online dictionaries if you don't have a physical one, so why are people making posts where half the replies are just trying to find out what exactly the poster was asking about?

I think a lot of the problems these days, I get the same frustration about it as you do, is the text language, many people sending texts and using short-language when doing it and if they use it that often they seem to forget how the original words were properly spelt.

IMO, once you're in any respect in touch, you should detect a sparkling caregiver. Your newborn's safe practices comes first, and also needs to come back first for your ex. this may properly be confusing via divorce, yet when she's a good mom, she could understand. you could (and may) record a record with newborn protecting amenities. they are going to look into. in fact, they're required to. you could record the record anonymously. yet because there is not any bruise and no evidence, there shall be no prosecution. nevertheless, the day care will be lower than the microscope, to be in a position to communicate. If some thing else takes position, they could have your record to again it up. Many day cares go through paintings force very instantly. that's a low-pay job with fairly some duty. some employ intense college scholars with little or no journey and pay minimum salary. no longer less than, you should examine with the owner of the day care middle. she will keep a pay attention. And if human beings understand your son is speaking, they're going to be extra careful about how they manage him.

You are correct. This paragraph could certainly use some help.

You do realise your own question is hardly the epitome off good question but never the less i'll answer it. Some people prefer to use the english speaking one because their own language is not catered for, eg. Tagalog, Arabic etc. they can't be judged just because it doesn't meet our standard of english. Don't blame them blame yahoo for not catering for them.

no one's perfect so let's not expect everyone to be one.

i understand your concern but you know, people are not using their domainds perhaps of the reason that they want to reach out; that they want to be heard in this big yahoo!answers thing.

posting in the wrong category is somehow untolerable esp. if it was done intentionally.

the spellings and grammar i can forgive esp if i was able to understand the message. the medium of communication is important but the message behind it matters more.

Must be tough being so perfect!

This forum is not intended to live up to some standard you have set.

Not all have been fortunate as to have had a formal education. Does this mean they should be excluded?

Try a little tolerance, you seem very uptight and judgmental.

Have you taken your Paxil today?

Why do some people post a question about others with poor grammar and then use poor grammar themselves in that very question?

One, they may just be, ignorant to their linguistic skills, and same for the use, of this medium.
Or, they are in a hurry, and they don't care. after all you do not have a way to know their identity, so they do not have to impress.
