I'm bringing my pet from Puerto Rico in January and I'm concerned about the drastic change in temperature. She's an adult Miniature Schauzer and has never been exposed to cold weather before.
For those of you who have never been to PR, the averqage temperature is 82 degrees throughout the year

You might try getting a sweater or jacket for your dog to wear (if she will tolerate it - some dogs won't) just to keep her a bit warmer. She will be cold at first, but dogs are very adaptable. She will start to grow a thicker coat in response to the cold. I'd just keep her inside as much as possible, and supervise her very carefully when she's outside, until she is acclimatized.
Hope this helps!

I would suggest you turn down the air inside your house a few degrees at a time until your dog is accustomed to temperatures of around 65F. Anything colder than 65 will probably freeze your a/c. Your dog will have a dramatic adjustment, and may get sick, however make sure you keep her warm. You may want to hold off on grooming and let her get a fuller coat before you move to the states so that she has more insulation. If she cannot grow a proper coat in time, purchase a wool or thick cotton sweater for her (baby and toddler sweaters work on some dogs too). She may look a bit silly in a sweater, but her comfort is first. Good luck!

internet progression spiders are the perfect. no longer a lot of human beings keep them as pets, yet as long as you've various flies and mosquitoes they're really elementary to guard and they are so lovable even as they first hatch. you could also seem into fixing the challenge on the source. Mosquitoes stay for an exceedingly little while, so that they should be breeding. The larvae can in elementary words stay in stagnant sparkling water, regularly with various algae or micro organism. Do you've a pond or any buckets of water in or round your homestead? What about a sparkling water fish tank? Get reflects for your homestead windows and keep your doors close even as accessible. once you've a cat or canines door be particular it seals even as it closes. that would want to be sensible keep them out.

Your dog will adapt to the climate change in no time.

A dog's normal body temperature is between 101°F and 102°F. Any drop or rise or in body temperatuure should be thoroughly investigated by a veterinarian.

Good Luck
