Clearly Satan. In most religious stories Satan was once one of God's angels but rebelled against God for various reasons. In some versions of the story it was because he didn't want to wear the uniform God had picked out for him. In other versions of the story it was because he didn't want to serve mankind as God was requiring. (Sorry I don't have references, this is just from my memory) Anyway, I believe that Satan is the unconformist. He goes his own way. He doesn't let God tell him what to do. He thinks for himself. Satan is a rational being. If I was an angel, I wouldn't want to serve mankind either or be forced to wear a uniform. Satan is a symbolism for all the rational people of the world who think for themselves and rebel from convention. Clearly he is much more interesting of the two. God is simply a symbol for some kind of greator parent who forces rules and his wishes upon us. Compared to Satan, God is very boring indeed!
Remember: this is no good without evil. Religion makes rational thinking and logic into something evil, while blind faith is considered "good." To me that notion is twisted.. completely twisted. In some respects, I think religion is the root of all evil. It tells us how to think, act, feel and behave.. and if we don't conform we are deemed "evil" and pushed out of society. Is that fair for the free-thinkers? I think it blurs the lines between real evil actions and false evil actions... thus creating potential for people to identify themselves with evil. These people begin to seek out evil actions in and of themself. If the notion of evil never existed, you couldn't identify with it... it wouldn't even cross (pun unintended) your mind.

I think that God would be more interesting. He has been around longer. He creates and Satan destroys. I could ask him questions, like why did He let those men twist and manipulate His meaning and the life of the man Jesus? Why doesn't He just set the record straight in a loud voice that the whole world can hear?

Interesting question...satan would no doubt be more flattering, and fun in the moment. But I think God, with everything He knows, would have more interesting topics to discuss. So I guess it depends on what to you think makes a good converstationalists, I'd hope I'm the sort of person that would prefer a conversation with God.

particularly we've been discussing this precise same subject rely at paintings. If devil replaced into particularly God's precise hand guy, superb bud, bosom pal, and God gave devil dominion over the Earth as 'punishment' for attempting to be basically like him, does not that recommend that all of us particularly is already below devil's care? I dunno, in case you may seem on the destruction of the excellent international inhabitants different than for 2 of each and every species and below 10 people a sort and loving God then no ask your self you think of devil is evil. He hasn't performed diddley while in comparison with God... And by using ways, basically because of the fact somebody else says that devil is evil, why does all of us have faith that? Why is "God" immediately good no rely what he does, and devil is evil no rely what? Oh yeah, because of the fact a guy written, guy translated chaotic paintings of religion says so.

Neither.
As I understand it, I think if there were a 'god' that he wouldn't want to tell us anything and would have all sorts of pragmatic things to say which would ultimately tell us nothing.
On the other hand, 'satan' as I understand his definition, would have lots of things to say, but everything would be a lie and I don't consider that good conversation.

I'm gonna say God of course. Satan manipulates. We;ve seen what he can do, but we've seen what God can talk about and do through the embodiment of Jesus Christ. God talked through Jesus to the poor, the destitute, the prostitutes, the demon possessed. God can be everywhere all the time. The devil cannot. The Lord God knows your thoughts and everything you do before you do it, the devil cannot. The devil can put a thought in your head, but he cannot read your mind if you are in the blood of Jesus Christ through God.

Easy one. Satan would have much cooler stories to tell than god. He's a badass! God is a wussy who just sits around playing the harp. How fun is that?

I don't believe in the Christian concept of the Creator, so I would have to say the Creator would be much more interesting than some self-centered evil spirit
