I live in Northern Arizona.. And we have absolutly amazing Lightning shows here.... Some of the best im told...

Yes, I love them. I love the power, the sight, the sounds, the smell. Watching them roll in from miles & miles away over Lake Superior is utterly amazing and can be rather surreal.

Makes my left arm hurt...
While entering my residence during a thunderstorm, I opened the car door, opened my umbrella and was walking toward the door when the umbrella was hit by lightning. A steel screw holding the plastic handle onto the aluminum shaft conducted the electric shock to the palm of my hand, branding the screw head into my hand... the rest was painful.
By the way, I'm a "ham radio storm spotter" trained by the National Weather Service and have provided them with information on hundreds of severe thunderstorms, been way too close to 3 tornadoes (one was an F3 on the ground at less than 100 feet), and generally "don't have sense enough to come in out of the rain," - a common joke among spotters.

I do too. I love listening to the wind and the rain and watching the lightning... especially the kind that travels straight across the sky and looks like someone turned on a blue neon light. I've always found that I sleep better during storms too.

Absolutely! The lightning is always fantastic to watch (I like the near strikes and multi-branching strikes best), the thunder is amazing, especially from a near hit.
Against all advice, I watch them from my back yard or porch if the rain is too heavy to see through my glasses.

I don't like them at all, especially lightning. I hate when it flashes across the sky. I usually cover my head if I'm at home.

I love the sudden flash of light that reveals scenes of the night only to dissapear just as suddenly. I love the majestic crash of thunder. The sheer power of it reminds me of how humble is my place in the world.

Yes I love the storms it is Gods buitiful gift. You can either be scared or look the good side and find beauty in all.
