What would YOU do in the following situation:

You get tickets to your teams game (A playoff game) on a weekday night. You would not get home until after midnight. You are unable to get a last minute babysitter but your children are able to stay at the neighbors house (you are going to the game with the neighbors) with their child and live in nanny. At this point, you are all set with childcare. Would you:

a) let your children skip school the following day because of late night
b) Send your children to school even though you know they will be tired
c) Skipped the game, and have went on with normal routine

As stated, there is no way to get a sitter you know to come over last minute. There are no options of hiring a college student.

d) Let them sleep in (if they are tired) and send them to school a couple hours late.

Don't skip an A's playoff game! You're lucky to have the tickets! I think I would asses how the children are feeling the morning before school. They may have had enough rest at the neighbor's home and will be fine to go to school. If they are tired, skip school for the rest of the day. One day of missing school isn't going to hurt.

I'd hire a college student to come over to my house to watch the kids. That way it wouldn't interfere with the kids schedule. Good luck.
