Bible says that twice...

2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to keep his promise. He is not slow in the way some people understand it. He is patient with you. He doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed. Instead, he wants all people to turn away from their sins.

1Timothy 2:3 That is good. It pleases God our Savior. 4 He wants everyone to be saved. He wants them to come to know the truth.

... so 3 of Calvin's TULIP points are immediately false ;-)

So it seems he's had a change of heart lately. Was it some other Lord that drowned all those kids in the great flood? Or offed all first-born Egyptians? Or had all those tribes wiped out in Canaan - men, women, children AND livestock? Jobs kids?

Anyway, I'm glad to know he's rethought his position on this "perish" thing. I'm just curious: When did you get the news?

Once you truly realize the truth in your statement, you can finally accept the idea that you don't need organized religion to gain salvation.

I realize those won't get 'Best Answer' vote because you are clearly trying to manipulate people into a specific belief structure and my answer kind of goes against the grain of that. But even the New Testament states that there are those who have not heard the Gospel but believe through the Spirit and will be judged according to how the Spirit has instructed them.

The only ones who desire his children to perish, however, are the religious leaders of today who would rather people follow them and their instruction that that can only come from the Holy Spirit. You'd never hear them confess to it. But they clearly perfer cash to service and blind obedience to seeking truth, slavery to freedom.

The Lord gives his children trainings and tests (trials and evaluations) to be worthy of his kingdom because spiritually weak children are favorite victims of satan to perish them to hell.

It is God's will that none will perish, but all to receive everlasting life.

That all will come to repentence.

Then why do they? Looks like your "Lord" isn't quite weak. Perhaps he doesn't know how to keep them from parrishing.

of course this is why HE has made each of us so different yet similar as HE loves each of us the same yet each of us are also unique individuals at the same time as none of us think exactly alike.
