The ark came down very violently onto the rocks below, breaking the hull of the boat open. The animals were all thrown violently into a churning sea where they were kept busy just trying to keep from drowning. No one was thinking of consuming another, they fought to get breath. After the tempest was over the animals went on their way, stunned but grateful to be alive.
Kind of like in Katrina.
OF COURSE IT'S A STORY! I like the story but I don't swallow it whole.

Here's the real question. How is it that animals that only live in Madagascar, or Australia or America either survived the flood or got back to their homes?
Or another question... How is it that there is no archeological proof for the flood in the first place?
One more... How is it that a book that is clearly written to be metaphorical has been interpreted so literally for so many years by so many people. Try reading it again, look for SPIRITUAL meaning and you will find plenty to guide your life. Read it literally and you're putting a square peg into a round hole.

You are assuming there were wolves. A wolf is just a canine, so they only needed two canines. As for rabbits, as a feeder species, they reproduced very rapidly, even before they were let lose. Learn a little about evolution, and you learn how possible this is.

We have bunnies and wolves, but think about it.....we have some animals in the old world (Africa and Europe) that do not exist nor ever existed in the new world. And concurrently we have animals in the Americas that do not, nor never did, exist in the old
world.
Noah's story doesn't 'hold water' so to speak.

I suppose the scriptures in someway indicate to Christians that Noah also found ideal habitats for all the millions of species that would have been on the Arc.

15 Then God said to Noah, 16 "Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives. 17 Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you—the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground—so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number upon it."
18 So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons' wives. 19 All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds—everything that moves on the earth—came out of the ark, one kind after another.

I think Noah was able to communicate with the animals some how. Especially if he was able to get two of each and have them go onto the boat with out cages or leashes. DIVINE INTERVENTION. The same reason they didn't eat eachother etc.

Oh, that's easy. Noah used flying dinosaurs to gather and return the animals back home. Here is the article from a Baptist church:

Why do we assume it was a sea-faring vessel?
It may have been a ship...but it wasn't of this world & the animals were beamed back to thier proper locations. Doesn't anyone here watch Star Trek?

Yes! He just let them go and God took care of them just like He still does. God is ultimately in control of nature as we know it. He allows predators in the animal kingdom to control the balance of nature. He knows what He is doing. He does not make any mistakes.
