you run the risk of getting more and more attached and your heart breaking completely once it is over, BUT if you think that you have already fallen hard, then it won't matter if you break it off now or later because either way you'll be devastated. maybe having some extra time with him or her will be worth it to you in the end, you'll have more moments to cherish. it's tough i hope you can work something out.

I wouldn't. That would be hurtful to the other person. Maybe what is best for them is to find the person that they are supposed to be with. You can still be a close friend and express your caring that way, but to keep them in a dead-end relationship is selfish and hurtful, i think.

No, you are being selfish if you keep this charade up. What if this person is falling for you? You just need to end it before you hurt this person anymore. He deserves to know, and you owe yourself not to waste anymore time. We don't get a lot of time... Remember life is short

Keep in mind that being with somebody, even on a temporary base, or just for 'physical purposes' will make you less encline for new relationships. Hence, you may miss your real partner you are looking for !

NO! Move on and let him or her move along. It's better not to drag it out. They may think it's working fine and have visions of aging together!

No you don't. If you know it's not going to work, eventually you will start resenting that person and not liking them so much anymore.

It depends on what I want out of it, I am married now, so out of the game. But before, if it was just for fun, it was OK.
