the felony was ten years ago for attempting to cash a personal check someone gave me. i want to train to be a pct in the hospital but heard you could not have any felonies or misd.

Depending on the state in which you live, you can have the felony expunged, (sealed) through the court system. You will have to get an attorney to look in to it, or a public defenders office. There are some guidelines that must be in place that make you eligible. After you have it sealed, then it is though you did not have a felony conviction. If you only have one is the criteria in most states and has to be so many years gone by. Look into it. Good luck and God bless.
