Actually, it's not your decision when you'll have someone come into your life. God will provide when He thinks your ready. If ever.
As far as what happened to you when you were sleeping...who knows. It could've been an awakening, or just a bad dream. That's never happened to me.

Your jerk is probably more to do with your physical body than anything metaphysical. Jerking in your sleep is very common in some folks. Don't read too much into it that if it keeps happening and waking you up, you might see your doctor and ask for a sleep study.

Yes. You were probably falling in your dream and thats why you felt your body jerk when you woke up. Or maybe you had an out of body experience and you just dont remember it.

I reply first, and if the answering makes me consider or makes my day, then I'll superstar. I recognize...it is choosy of me, sorry. o.o But this fashion I grow to be pointing my lovers and contacts to the *well stuff* you already know? ^__^ Or no less than I attempt to. But have a celeb besides only for being sufferer and information. ^_^

Don't know why your body jerked. Perhaps you had a bad dream or something, maybe a really good dream. In any case, prayer doesn't really do much. There are no gods to tell anything to.

perhaps your religious hysteria has caused a bout of epilepsy. Stranger things have happened. I recall hearing a Hindu telling me how he prayed to Vishnu that he'd see the glory of the Gods, and sure enough he had a dream so vivid of all the Hindu gods it woke him with a start and gave him an overwhelming sense of peace.
Why is your religious experience correct and his wrong?
Isn't it more likely that you BOTH are wrong?

Yes, this "body jerk" just after you fall asleep happens to people all the time, it has to do with nerve impulsed from the brain as it falls asleep...it's very normal, and had nothing to do with your prayer.
best wishes

Don't look for God in everything. But if God is sending you a message and your not getting it at first then he will confirm it beyond a shadow of a doubt.
