You neglect to see the obvious, if you see a man talking to a lamp post what would your initial reaction be? Would'nt you think he was crazy? I'm not saying that people who talk to god are crazy, but its hard to distinguish a nut from a worshipper.

I would not stop him. I would listen to what he was saying to the lamp post.
I don't argue when people talk to god. I get upset when they think they have to tell me what god tells them.
