This life is a test for every human being. The test determines who we belong to, God or Satan. By passing the test we can have eternal happiness in heaven, and by failing it we risk the eternal fires. Of course sinse God loved us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to become the Sacrificial Lamb who died for us on the Cross it is clear that He truly wants ALL soul to be saved. God never promised us a rose garden so life is not always easy even for the ones closest to God; but we must not let difficulties discourage us from remaining faithful to Him and living the gospel life and repenting of our sins. God's Mercy is so great that just being a sinner will not keep us from Heaven, but there is a responsibility to our gift of salvation. Respect, humility, repentance and love are important. God reads the heart, so it is where the heart is that God will see and judge us accordingly.
I am so sad to see all the God bashing going on here. He loves you and only wants to save you.

My dear, Thank God there are people like you who are courageous enough to stand up for God. I, too am so sad that there is so much God bashing going on here. It seems that it is futile to try to impress on people who do not believe that God is real and that He truly loves them. Someone once said "For those who believe, no explanation is necessary, and for those who do not believe, no explanation will suffice."
The best thing for us to do is to PRAY for those souls who refuse to listen. We cannot get through no matter what we say, but through our prayers, God can get through because He can do anything. After all He is God, and to Him, nothing is impossible, even the impossible.
People don't seem to realize that the "FREE WILL" God gave us is NOT a license to do whatever we want without repercussion, but instead it IS the freedom tool God gave us to choose Him or Satan in this life, which is the determining factor of who our souls really belong to (by our own choice).

Do you understand how completely delusional all that sounds and how ridiculous any being would be to go to all that trouble to create beings for damning and saving? What kind of an ****hole, idiotic deity would bother with such nonsense?
I certainly have higher aspirations for my children than you think God has for us, like we're a giant ant farm for God's experimentation. Save me from what? His own creation? Why even put the tree in the garden if you know mankind is going to eat of it and fall? Why allow the existance of this Satan when you know he's going against you?

If that is God's only agenda, which I don't believe it is the "only" agenda, God is failing it badly and God will fail.
I think we, humans, put God in such a high pedestal that sensible modern men are distancing themselves further and further away from God.
Let us teach our children the real God, without the fairy tales.

He could start by making his existence obvious to all, in the same clear, no-nonsense way that we can see the sky is blue and the sun comes up in the East. Until he does that, requiring us to believe in him is totally unfair. Only an evil god would do that, and I don't think you would want to worship an evil god, would you?

God only has one agenda and that is to express his vision of HIMSELF in and through ALL of his creation. NONE CAN BE LOST BECAUSE ALL THINGS HAVE A ONENESS WITH GOD. read romans 1-19/20 because that which may be known of GOD is manifest in them; for GOD hath shown "it" unto them. for the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,being understood by the THINGS THAT ARE MADE, EVEN his eternal power and GODHEAD;so they are without excuse.
