I am Christians and I believe that God's fingerprints are on all creation. I have been pondering on something.
They have shown how an animal changes for it's environment.
For example - the Polar bear vs the Grizzly bear or the many differnent colors of large cats.
How is this to be explained outside of God inspired evolution?

It is my belief that El Shaddai, God Almighty, is quite capable of taking one animal and with His hand change it.

I do not know what is the full truth behind how everything was created and became what it is today and if I don't get full understanding until I get there, that's fine - just trying to give some food for thought

After reading the answers, many of you are correct, I am talking more about adaptation rather than evolution.

I would like to say, however, I believe that God created the world, He placed all thing in, on and around it. He took up dust and created Adam, breathing life into him. He then put Adam into a deep sleep, removed his rib and carved Eve.

Personally creation is the only possible way to explain the beauty and diversity of our world. The Apostle Paul put it well at Romans 1:20 when he said that "his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creaton onward, because they are perceived by the things made even his eternal power and Godship. Belief in evoution is a convenient way for people to believe that there is no creator and that they are, therefore, not accountable to anyone for their actions.

Adaptation is not evidence of Evolution. When your skin changes color in the summer time, have you evolved into something else? When some women's hair changes color naturally after giving birth to their children, have they evolved also? The answer is obviously 'no'. Yet small differences and physical adaptations much like the ones you mention are being touted as proof positive that Evolution is a fact. Evolutionists must believe that the Earth is millions of years old to explain their theory of things developing over time. No one would actually believe things have come as far as they have in only approximately 6,000 years (which is the age of the earth the Bible gives us). Do you really believe that everything in the universe just happened by chance or that God would actually make us monkeys first, then cause us to evolve into mankind when the Bible clearly says we were created in His image. If you are truly a Christian then stand up and believe what you say you do. The Bible says six days - I believe six literal days.
By the way, the Bible even says "the evening and the morning.." when describing the passage of time during creation.

Creatures in an environment develop mutations. If the mutation is helpful, like a coloration that helps them hide from prey right up until they strike (like tigers), or hollow fur bristles that absorb sunlight as heat (as polar bears have), these creatures will survive longer than their disadvantaged fellows and mate more. They will pass those traits down to their young, who will also be more prolific than the others without this advantageous mutation. Eventually, those without the mutation become less numerous as their mating opportunities are lost to the ones who have the mutation. Over time, the entire species changes.

It is a very, very long process, but accounts for everything you mentioned and then some. There is hard evidence behind this, and it is a theory formed through the scientific method. Creationism has no science behind it at all and merely states that creatures are different because they were made that way.

I am not a christian but I am creationist. It's obvious that their is intelligent design in everything. Animals are not as dumb and unreasonable like everyone thinks. As the environment changes the inhabitant must also change in order to survive. It's called adaptation. Just like Darwin's finches or moths. They changed color and attributes from island to island because there were different predators on the different islands. They adapted in order to survive. Just the way humans have adapted over the years to the different life styles we have today.

Erm... plain old adaptation? It happens all the time; animals with the features best suited for their environment are the most successful and so breed more successfully. Their genetic traits are passed down and eventually, all the polar bears are white--it works better.

There's no need for a god here, it's very very basic science and common sense.

The change in animals is called adaptation. It is a fact. I can't say how this fits in with any 'god inspired evolution'.

In the beginning, at the time of creation of nature only one element was present in the vast universe of infinity, which is called the prime element or the God. In course of time it condensed into an energy element and then from energy it transformed into a solid element, which again got divided into seven re-transformed parts in course of time. These divided parts are earth (surface), water, air, fire (energy) consciousness, sky, and arrogance. In the seven elements were carried the truth (Positive), essence (Neutral) and sin (Negative) is equal proportion like wise in the whole universe there is a creation on 21 type of matters. These 21 maters constitute the whole universe. And divide themselves in to count less numbers of atoms. During the developing period of universe, in a desire to develop themselves the atoms carried on improving themselves spontaneously and gradually up to conscious soul, generally. Some highly developed carried high consciousness and divine power in them. The atoms of the universe are trying to go further ahead in the way of superiority.

If we take the milk as prime element, then curd, cheese, butter, buttermilk, butter oil, and creams etc. are the byproducts of it. Bacteria is cultured in the curd. Cheese is not active but the bacteria’s are active like wise, the matter, the living being and the ‘spheres’ are developed from the prime elements. The cause of the matter is energy and the energy is the condensed form of prime element (the essential elements of the universe).

The soul enters into the man though breathing to become the part of his cell, again to form into the sperm, and after that it take the form of a foetus in mother’s womb. Every atoms are well equipped to form alive. Wherever co-incidence occurs they become activated. And congruous to the developed state of own, with the help of other germs and atoms they take the form of a full bodied species.

Every atom has a free existence which is made of a part from the supreme element. Whatever is there in this universe, is existing from the beginning, will remain there. Only the shape and the size of it changes. Nothing reduces or increases.

The day atoms go back to there original position they will achieve salvation. Conversion of soul into super element is salvation.

This undivided infinite existing one is God. The soul, germs and the atoms are tiny parts of it. Like a stone and the molecules in it. Countless numbers of molecule combine together to form a stone. Likewise the tenure and the dominance of God are spread in molecules to molecules. This is a fact. An eternal truth.

Every molecules of the nature and every creature are part of the creation only. Different shapes created in them is the combined representation of the germs and atoms, which depend on each other to bring these shapes. They are present in the clay, in the stone and in the total vegetation. They are ‘life elements’. The scientific research has proved that the plants also feel the pain when being cut with a weapon and they also can make out what the person in front thinks about them – ‘Today they are eating, tomorrow they will be eaten or already been eaten.’

Countless numbers of molecules and atoms have become bricks to build houses for you. You were also an atom of some other brick, one day. Tomorrow, you may become a roof for somebody else. Today we are building items from trees and leaves for our comfort. One day, we were also trees and leaves, for our comfort. You were also a tree or leaf one day. You are an unit of this creation. You used to be an atom before, now a germ, and this is the life cycle of yours during the time of infinity. Because,‘O’human being, for the construction of your body some 10 billions cells are required and each cell is made up of thousands of atomic germs.

Lice in the hair, mosquitoes in the drain and the insects in the dark corners, where do they come from ? Have you ever asked the black ants on the age of wash basin, where they come from ? You wait till they (ants) escape from the basin area, so that you can wash you face and no ant should get washed away. But it doesn’t work, they (ants) don’t bother and get washed away with the flow of water. Other creatures like spider, rats, if you don’t kill them they will spoil your food and your sleep. The mosquitoes, if you don’t use mosquito “repeler”, they will suck up your blood. You have them starved to death, by using a mosquito net. How content you feel in that ? How do the ants know where the sugar is ? Those ants with wings, how you burn them to char?

Why do you destroy the honey combs and the wasp den ? The reason is, for existence of one species, an another is sacrificed. You connive for it, but your virtuous mind gets entangled with the ‘net o virtues’ seeing those insects dying. By slaying a lamb, 10 people fill there stomach, but with the killing of 50 mosquitoes a person gets proper sleep.

What makes you think evolution is God inspired? It is better explained through complexity theory, genetics, and environmental pressures. None of that requires any input from any super invisible sky beings.

When people talk about the "fingerprints of God" they inevitably are just talking about how they feel about complexity. Sorry, but your emotions don't really say much about the topic.

So this must be the new Christian view - evolution is real, but God makes it occur?

Id answer this seriously, if the question was serious in nature. But when you go attributing natural law to God, youve lost credibility.

I am a christian too, and there are really a lot of questions to ponder about this world. But, our job as christians isnt to ask why why why, just seek God, read his word and do things pleasing to Him. And if you do ask, ask him for his guidance in answering, or leading you to the answer....Dont sweat the small stuff hun.
