We are trying to put fish in a eutrophicated lake, to get rid of the algae in the water. Do any come to mind?

Uh...algae eaters?

If you're trying to clean out a whole lake, they might not work very well. I'd suggest rather introducing invertebrates that can eat algae, such as water fleas. Then if you like you can get some fish to eat the invertebrates.

Placosamus - they are those little sucker fish that you get to clean the inside of your fish tanks.
