I am 38 years old and still not comfortable with sex and my body. I have been celibate for quite some time and don't know if I would be comfortable having sex again. Just the thought of bein naked in front of a man terrifies me. I have been told by many people that I am pretty and attractive but I just can't see myself having sex again. The thought scares me.

I am not sure what your back ground has in it that brings those feelings upon you but maybe finding the right guy that you would want to have sex with and be naked in front of might help. But don't push your self into it until your ready. If people say that your attractive then you definately don't have anything to be ashamed of. Be proud of your self if that is where you lack confidence and I am sure plenty of guys would think that your attractive and have sex when it feels right and the mind set is there

All i can say is that no matter what you look like... you have to be confident about who you are that is where sex appeal comes from... you should look at some pic and movies( I am not being a pervert or anything) that have BBW's ( Big Beautiful Women)... I don't know what your body type is but just sit back and relax and you will see that you are truly a wonderful and attractive woman...

When you meet the right person , it WILL be great. Its up 2 both to make eachother feel comfortable. Very few peeps in thier late 30's -40's , have a BOW-FLEX body , lol . The guy is prolly just as worried as you! SO DONT let it bother you!

If you are celibate you are wasting your life.
If you are not having sex because you are afraid then you seriously need to go and get some psyciatric help in order to live a normal life. Sounds like you have a mental disorder and serious insecurity issues. Seek help so you can live a normal life.

I am also quite self concious.I also am glad I am that way!When the right man comes along he will be glad you are modest.Sex is the most intimate act,to be entered into with someone you care deeply about.Too many people treat it like a sport.

Why don't you start off slow and try sex with all of the lights out?

I've heard this before, Seems a lot of ladies have the same problem.
I think maybe you just need the right man, who'll be patient with you,
To give you time to understand him.
A man who will make you feel desirable and pretty.
you'll love him and want to have sex with him, to please him, and at the same time you'll be pleasing yourself.
