If after long talks about the relationship and reluctance to open up to each other, is there any way she would finally drop the L word so we didn't have to talk about that stuff anymore? We have been dating for 5+ months.

I had actually said it this past Monday after one of these talks. She has been reluctant to open up with me and I told her I loved her just the way she was and was here if she ever wanted to talk. I guess I said something right. Finally.

how funny. i am in the same exact sitation. same timing too. 5 months plus. personally i think he is saving the L word for the next time he makes me mad :) seriously though, maybe you should say it. i think girls wait to hear it first.

Why don't YOU drop the L word? In my current relation, I told here first that I love her, she said something interesting when I told her: "I love you too baby... I was so worried that you didn't, but I've loved you from the start but I was scared that if I told you'd ran away....."

She's probably thinking about it, you have been in this relationship for 5 months, which I can see its a serious one, maybe give it a chance and be you the first.... trust me.
