Christians regularly go to doctors to fix things that their god supposedly screwed up.

A faithful Christian would ask for Gods guidence. They would pray until they got an answer. If it is Gods will to leave on child and for the other one to go to Heaven, so be it. He has the decision to heal, or not to heal. It all depends on his will.

God gave us the magnificant human brain to solve problems just like these. Sorry I can't be more specific. Our God given brains work on a case by case basis.
