I don't know about the Bible, but someone who is 'satin' is a very smooth character and should not be brushed up the wrong way. Mohit, you are a little devil for asking such a question and if you are not careful, Satan will be after you. He was an Archangel in heaven along with Michael. He led a jealous revolt against God who banished him and his followers to Hell.........

Satin is a textile material or fabric. Satan would be the Devil mentioned in the bible and other religious texts.

Satin is described in the True Book of Knowledge

Philopians 12:12-- And did the third son slayeth the marmot and offerith its entrails unto the golden ram in the tradition of Baltizar Gamash al Shibah whereupon great swarms of flies did descend and eatith they the eyes of the unholy. Here endeth the second lesson.

A very smooth and luxourious fabric:)

Seriously, Satan was basically the chief angel. Until he rebeled against God, was defeated in an epic battle with the rest of the angels, and was cast down into hell with his followers. The details change depending on wich version of the bible you use, but that's the basic story.

There are many cloths mentioned in the Bible, but I don't think satin is among them.

Contradicting Jane's answer. Satan does not have more power than God and he knows it. God has given him reign over the earth for this time, but if you read the book of Job, you see that He still is required to ask God's permission for what he does. The result of the battle has already been determined, Satan loses. He knows this result, therefore he spends all his time trying to steal as many of God's kids away as he can before his time is up and he is tossed into the lake of fire.
We as God's kids, have more power than Satan, in the fact that we can tell him to leave and he has to obey. He only has the right to stay in our lives in places where we have given him a foothold.

Even in the Bible, satin is a smooth, slick cloth. Now if you mean Satan, he is the devil.

He was the highest angle in Heaven (the covering cheribim).

But he wanted to be greater (to take God's place).

So God cast him out of Heaven unto the earth.
