Will the 700 miles of border fence be electrified? It should be. If it were powered by High Voltage wouldn't that work? Or maybe we should use invisible electric fencing like we use for the perimeter of our lawns to keep our dogs contained. That would surely deter the Mexicans from coming here ILLEGALLY. Or would it? Hmmmmm. Something worth looking into!

No, you are mistaken. It's not cruel or racist. They hate their own rotting country so bad they are willing to take a chance on dying already by being shipped over the border in the backs of sweltering trucks to get into ours, then no fence is gonna stop them anyway. By the way I said ILLEGALS, Moron. That is what pisses most American Citizens off. Not the fact that most of these immigrants are Mexican but the fact that they are coming here ILLEGALLY.

I would just be curious as to how old the opposers are of this question. Probably not even old enough to have been through or seen the **** that those of us who support it have. When you get a few more notches in your belts, come back to this question.

By the way, I never knew that Illegals or Criminals were their own RACE. That is why this question is not RACIST.

I'd have to say I love the idea, I was floating the idea of making a Great Wall type of wall it could be called the Great Wall of Freedom, but I love your idea, it could be entertaining watching Mexican after Mexican fry on the fence to dumb to realize the person before them just fried.

The "invisible" electric fence only works because of electrodes on the dog's collar.

It would certainly be cheaper than humans patrolling. But I personally wish that one could move anywhere they want easily, some countries make it really hard to get in (i.e. Canada), but others not so much.

If it wasn't such a pain to gain residency in another country no one would have such problems with "Illegals"

The thing that keeps your dogs in won't work. Even on your dogs if they REALLY want to cross it, they can.

Further, I don't think you want to electrify that much fence. It becomes very difficult - plus you build them differently than regular fences AND you'd end up needing precautions for wildlife.

... and then some "anti's" wonder why others say they're being racist when they talk about illegal immigration.

You compare "Humans" to "Dogs"... and say you're not racist....now go ahead and say that's not a racist statement....

I have an idea... why doesn't someone put you in a kennel and see how you like it. Lets see if that "deters" you from making stupid statements like that one...."something worth looking into."

I'm not being racist... just curious!

I love what John H. said. It's probably true.

The electric fence is a great idea. Something needs to be done about this invasion. People are so worried about it being cruel. Who cares? Look what they are doing to our country. These criminals don't belong here. They need to be dealt with harshly.

The United States GIVES Mexico like 7 billion a year. I say that all incarceration/deportation costs be subtracted from it, along with jobsite enforcement costs, and the cost of the border fence itself.

That will leave about $14.50, that should cover a 12-pack of Corona(plus deposit)....

If they seriously wanted it to stop illegal aliens... I guess you are right.... so what does that tell you.... they know it won't serve its stated purpose as is....Think..... They don't want to stop them they just want people to think they do.....
