All donuts are fried. If it isn't fried, it isn't a donut.
Donuts are a good eating in the morning.

You mean deep fried? I make my own and its so simple, can biscuits and use pop cap to cut whole out of middle put in deep fryer, then shake in either powder sugar or Cinnamon and sugar, then fry up the wholes you cut out for donut holes and do the same

Most of them are fried. Fried in oil and then slathered with some sort of glaze or icing. Mmmm...mmmm... good; and unhealthy.
When I was little, my mom used to make "homemade" donuts by buying canned biscuit dough, poking a hole in the center of each one, deep frying them, and then coating them in sugar. Now that was good eatin!

Unless you are talking about refried donuts. I would assume that has the potential to kill you.
