I know the feeling.I have the same problem with my daughter.Only she's 3 now.All I can say is just keep placing her back in her bed.Try to give her a night light and a toy to comfort her butt, whatever you do , do not spank her. There's no reason for tapping her on the but. There's nights I'm so tired from work that I cant even get up to put my daughter back in bed so I place her in between my husband and me.I know bad habit. But I work full time and also have a 7 yr old and one on the way.You do what you can to get some rest.Good Luck!

I think perhaps she should have been in the crib a while longer, she is feeling insecure in this new bed. Maybe you could try one of those bed rails and lots of comforts, pillows, stuffed animals. Maybe some soft music? A night light works great.
Ignore the spanking post.

She's not quite comfortable in her new bed just yet. Tired or not you HAVE to take her back to her bed, if you keep putting her in your bed she will never sleep in her bed all night. Try giving her a warm bath in lavender before she is ready for bed, give her a teddy or a soft plush toy to sleep with. Start a little routine or ritual that you do every night so she knows it is time to go to sleep and stay asleep....

It's a safety thing. She felt safe in her crib, and now you have switched her bed. Putting her in your bed is why she is waking up...if you are going to contine this (and I highly don't recommend it) then just put her in your bed to begin with. If not, when she wakes up tell her to go back to bed or just get up and put her back in it.

Try some modifications to the bad and bedroom. The night light is not a bad idea, but there are some concerns with that too.

She's too young to be in a bed...put her back in a crib.

TRY A NITE LIGHT AND HER FAVORITE TOY TO COMFORT HER.

Pick her up and lay her down again. If she gets up again after that then spank her. Give her a pop on the butt and lay her down and tell her "Lay down and do not get up again."
