Some men lie because they think that they can get away with it, but I know, because I'm a man, that you will have to keep a healthy relationship because you girl is going to find out one way or another.
men, just don't lie because is going to bite you in the butt later.

I think it's because of selective hearing. You can catch them and a week later they are telling the same lie b/c they weren't listening to you when you brought it to their face the first time. As far as all men telling lies to cover up the same stuff...they talk to each other too much! If one gets away with something due to a lie he told...he shares it. Then it goes around. And for about a whole week, each one of them ends up on the couch....or their momma's couch as they each get caught.

Because men cannot think outside the envelope and always repeat the same old lie. Pity them. They can't think up anything new and creative.
