Baby kangaroos are called "joey's" hehehe! Good question....Reminds me of the Looney Toons cartoon though when Sylvester thought the baby kangaroo was a giant mouse!!! :) OH and Kangaroos only swim when they are chased into the water. I read that somewhere.

because kangaroos are between the few animals which aren't any further in a position to again up, the pair might want to require area on board to teach, therefore requiring a more suitable stall than say a horse. yet to get them on the ark, it develop into probable a one hop at a time type of challenge. Now how did the kangaroos get to Israel? properly, all of us understand little or no about the land mass earlier the flood, so . . .. BTW except for the backing up section, I made some thing up as I typed.

The even more amazing thing is that Noah had only one week to round all the animals up!
Genesis 7
1 The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. 2 Take with you seven [a] of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made."
So I suspect that there were some heavenly cowboys employed to get the proper number of animals into the arf in just 7 days. They probably just lined up and marched in.
This would be amazing in itself, not to mention the logistics. How does one lay in enough of the proper food for all these animals to last for almost 7 months?
There had to be some Divine intervention in this whole deal. But, it's too bad that the unicorns didn't believe in God.

Before the flood, the oceans were a lot smaller.
During the flood the ice (water) canape broke and rained down on the earth, and the fountains of the deep were broken up (underground water).
Kangaroos could have hoped to anywhere.
(Also we do not know if Kangaroos were from Australia originally)

No, kangaroos cannot swim. They also can't walk backwards, for those of you playing along at home. That said, I think Noah would've had bigger problems.

You know, out of all Bible stories Noah's arc is the most advertised.
You can't go to a toys store without seeing some Noah's Arc stuff.
And with all that, this is the first time I really thought about that question...

Kangaroos are cute. Maybe the flood did not reach to Australia.
I got an even better question about insects than utopia guy's question about insects. Would we be better off without those 900,000 species of insects...........in pairs? How about being better off without the mosquitos, at least?

Some believe that in that day the world was one big continent and the flood aided in breaking it up into the ones we have now. In that case, the kangaroos could have just walked (or hopped)

Check your BIBLE-- THE ALL came to the Ark.
At that time - was Australia already an Island - or part of the greater land mass.
Where all those animals indigenous to Ausi? Or did they migrate there after the flood subsided?
Who knows for sure?
