Well buttercup, if you don't believe the Bible - that he knocked over a company of soldiers with a single word then you'll naturally have that opinion of him.
But why would you believe he was a doormat if you don't trust the Bible?
Oh yeah, he also went medieval on the money changers Booooyah!
BTW - Eisenhower had respect for Rommel, but didn't "have the hots for him." Heck - maybe he did - who the hell knows.

Jesus taught many things that are backwards from the selfish nature of humans. Some people think that what He taught was ridiculous, but the same people are missing out on how rewarding it is to live the way Jesus taught us.
What do you think is wrong with loving and forgiving others? What does it do to you when you hold on to your anger?
how about giving? I believe Jesus spoke of giving not only in terms of monetary things, but also our time (helping people do things). Don't you also help yourself by helping others? Maybe you don't understand that one.
Anyway, the thing is, these principles that He taught, just try to imagine what the world would be like if everyone lived by them... I'm not saying if everyone was a Christian. Just if everyone by some miracle, decided to live by the principles that Jesus gave us. What would happen to the world?
Now tell me if He was a doormat, or if He was really smart and most of the world has rejected the principles that would bring about what many are searching for - world peace.

The real Jesus - Jesus the man, is a good role model. He preached love, kindness and acceptance.
The fake Jesus being pushed by by the warped machineries of religion is a hybrid of whining martyr and vengeful arbiter. The ultimate passive/agressive freak show.
I say just reject the sickness of organized religion altogether.

Tell me about the times that he healed the sick,
Flipped over tables in the temple of God and chased people out with a whip,
Told people they were in error because they didn't know the word of God , challenged men and women to check their self righteousness at the door it they wanted to make it to heaven.
And spoke more about hell than any other man in the Bible.
Hardest man to ever walk the earth.
News flash people flocked to him,
Read up on him and get your facts straight and stop looking at the European pictures of him .
Tell me another man greater than him.
Matter of fact Read Revelations where it describes him a being the rider on the white horse with fire in his eyes, a sword coming out his mouth and a tattoo on his thigh ....
That's what you will see and that's who you will bow down to whether you like it or not and confess that he is Lord.

Hmm, let's see, a man who forgives those who even kill him? How can you see that as a bad thing? Are you also this bitter about the Amish? They, like Jesus, forgive. They forgave the man and the family of the man who killed their girls. That takes more strength then most people can show. Jesus was about forgiveness and he is a great role model.

He lived as His father, would have Him to live! And I'll tell you right now, that all Christian's aren't as bad as you obviously think they are! Especially the "Pentecostal" Christians! We practise everything Jesus did, and do you know MOST, of the Pentecostal Christian's are thee Most Blessed people, who walk the earth! And they do it with a smile, and haven't a single bad word to say, to anyone! Because, their not MEAN people! Their very loving, caring and would even Love and Welcome you into their church, with Loving arms! With your attitude, and all! You've just been going to all the wrong churches~! Try the Pentecostal churches, their even in the bible, and practise everything Jesus told us to practise, and if their getting so many blessing out of doing what Jesus did, then God & Jesus cant be all that bad, as you say! Get that comment off your chalkboard, and ask God for forgiveness, because the bible says, "None of us, are promised tomorrow"!!!! And I would hate to see you before God, with that one on, your chalkboard in heaven, come "Judgement Day!" YIKES! Got to go now, I need to go pray, for someone!!! Have a nice day!!! May God Bless you, the way He does so many others who love Him!!!! He still loves you, even inspite of yourself!!! Thats what a Loving God, we have! Still loves you!! Even after what you said, just because your made in His Image, and God dont make Mistakes, so think about that one... Look at the good in your day, and remember, whenever, you have something good come your way, its from God!! Even your job, your family, your health, when you smile, if you do, its all from God!!! Your analysis is incorrect. Two examples are the driving out of the merchants from the temple and standing up many times to the Scribes/Pharisees.
He is my God, and I will have Him. Thank you very much.

How would you know anything about Jesus, you hate Him, only because you live in darkness. The darkness hates the light. I prayed for you half an hour ago, it seems like your demons are working even harder cause you just keep pumping out this filth.

And what criteria are you going by? Obviously, your resources are wrong. Besides, what happened to all of this "religous tolerance" that is supposed to be taught? Or does that couresty extend to all other religions besides Christianity? And if you exclude Christianity, then that throws off your entire thesis of religious tolerance.

He came the first time meek and lowly, as a lamb for the slaughter.
He is coming again as a lion, to take His place as King of all.
He came as our example on how to live and love.
He is coming to judge us on how we have followed His example!
