Has anyone had any experience of meeting new people in a singles group/club?, is it good to do that?, is it fun to meet people that way when it's obvious everybody is looking!!! and not exactly having fun?

I would rather meet people at public places like the store or library or office settings rather than a singles club. You cant really trust whether or not the person is being real with you or just telling you what you would like to hear. Your right everyone there is looking and believe me you will only be the one for the night, not a life time partner or anything. Just my thoughts.
