I was once an atheist. . .at least I thought I was. . .I was also very young. I have a high I.Q. and I figured it all just did not make sense for there to be a God, as too many people had so many different ideas about it. I figured no one really knew and had made it all up to cover the fear of the unknown - - - DEATH.
One day during a deep thought meditation, I was tinkering with a saying I once read "What man can conceive, Man can achieve". I pondered that for a bit and wanted to challenge that saying. So I needed to come up with a conception that would be impossible to achieve. . . after a very short time, I came up with "Nothing"!
Another saying is "Nothing is impossible", unless we set our own limitations. This is very true. . .the reason being is that we cannot in our mind conceive "NOTHING". We cannot describe it as it has no color, taste, light, texture, shape, etc. It is an impossibility to truly to conceive NOTHING. Therefore we will never achieve it.
Well, then by that logic, something always was and will always be. . . the universe as we know it, or as we have yet to learn about it always was and always will be. We assume it had to have a beginning. . .but in order to start somewhere, something had to be there to begin with. . .I'll call that God, for a lack of a better word. Does he/she require anything from us? I doubt it. . .I believe although God may be the Omega, we are simply a very small part of what always was. . .and what will always be. . .and I am not talking about the being human. . .simply stating, we are a very small part of something so huge, we have not yet been able to conceive it. Is God watching?. . .I have no idea. I believe we may never know and I do not believe we need to know. . .
I believe that life is a source for something we have yet to learn. We end life (as we know it) on a daily basis and I believe this serves a purpose that we still have not figured out. This is not only human life, but all life. It can possibly feed a need in the whole existence of the universe and if so, then perhaps we have a greater purpose than what we do here on this planet. I believe in a God, simply because logically something had to be here always and for a lack of a better or more accurate term. . God will have to do for now.

I often find myself questioning my beliefs. I prey all the time, but just get caught up in all the different religions out there. Who's to say one is right, and the other wrong? I believe in God, and leave it at that. There should be some form of belief in our creator for more then one reason. People always want to believe there is a supreme being, and an afterlife or some sort. We need to know where we came form, not just some evolution over time. I must admit, watching the Discovery channel will definitely have you doubting, but that's what faith is, after all.

Evolution says that man and dinosaurs never meet, they were separated by millions of years.
The Bible says that man and dinosaurs lived together (in the Bible they are called dragons, Leviathan, Behemoth and unicorn).
There are many places around the country and around the world were there are human and dinosaur footprints in the same rock (do a web search with the key words - human dinosaur footprints. Or check out the web sites listed below).
How did the Bible know this and many other things that man has only learned about?
God must have told us about it before!

If there is no God, how did you get here? Through your parents? How did your parents get here? Who made the vegetation, animals, the sun, the moon or the stars and all the others things that exist in this world? Humans can not make anything that could live, breathe, grow or know how to care for its self. So, God is not made up He is very real. Just remember that when ever you wake, see the sun shining and hear a bird chirping.

i had that same problem but i started thinking about the way we are made almost like some type of machines.maybe there isn't a god what if its about three.long story short just compare your your self to your car like the same thing that your spine does your transmission does from going in to park to neutral all the way to drive/laying down/standing still/and going front to back.look at your heart that acts like your cars engine I'm not even going to explain what the brain is symbolic to.oh yeah and by the way you have doctors that's only specialized in certain parts of the body just like some mechanics. from motors all the way down to a paint job.i guess that will be in the plastic surgery dept.my point is we didn't come from dirt something had to build us and i don't think one being could have done it all by him/herself!

Nature is the only "god" there there is. The traditional "God", sitting in the clouds/wherever, looking at and controling each of our lives, is totally a human creation.
It started out to help people understand and deal with life situations, but it's turned into mainly a way to control and rob the individuals who won't/can't think for themselves.

Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
My challlenge to you is to go watch the sun rise and tell me there is no God.
I dare you, I double dog dare you

I do believe that God is real. How can someone not believe in him? How would the world be here, how are we here, and everything?
Things that God said in the Bible have come to be true. He is real
