How long does it take a pitt bull to have puppies?

Ihave a pit bull that was given to me she was pregnant and i did not know she is about to have them what can i do to help her she is in pain

The best thing to to do is get her to a vet ASAP. If she is labor and in pain, she is probably having problems passing the puppies. You need to call and get her to a vet because you could lose her and the puppies as well if don't.

Give her a kids pool with a warm blanket and she'll do the rest,have fresh water and food for her too.I'm a little worried that if you don't stay with her while she delivers her mothers instinct might kick in,and she won't let you near them(the pups) to clean up...but that was just a long winded thought of mine,so call the experts...the vet.
