Me and my ex were thinking about getting back together. We went out for about 2 yrs. then we broke up, but we still saw each other on a regular basis since we both stay in the same apartment complex. But we were finally thinking about giving it another try. But the problem is that all that time that we've been going together we NEVER had sex and now he keeps saying that he's waited 2 yrs and we should definitely do it. I thought about it and I told him that i'm not ready. I'm not a virgin but I don't want to repeat a mistake twice. Is sex all he wants? Should I give in to his demands? Please!!! no stupid answers or dumb jokes.

I don't think you should go out with him because you two have a very different mind-set right now. I don't think all he wants is sex, because he waited 2 years when you were together. However, he probably feels similarly to the way he did before you broke up and almost sees this as a continuation of where you left off. You however, do not see it that way. You see it as starting over. You have got to trust your instincts. You are not ready, and that's reason enough to wait. He's going to say well, then if you're not going to have sex with me, we shouldn't get back together. And all you can do is say, yes, I guess that's the way it has to be. And move on. It just doesn't seem like the right move or the right person in your life right now.

First of all two thumbs up for you girl for going out with him and not giving him any for a whole two years...i wish i was like that! Anyway...if yall are not together i wouldn't give it up because it seems as if he just wants to say that he had you beause yall was going for so long. Sex is not something that is timed or done after a certain perid of time. It is done when you feel it is right and due to the situation with you two broken up and all it is not good becuase you will get more attached to him and then suppose he doesn't feel the same way. It's messed up but it's true and honestly i wouldn't give it up to him unless you two are stable again. Good luck girl :)

Let me guess: you're both in your younger 20's, your a fairly attractive girl, outgoing with some past relationships and he is shy and quiet, but witty and intelligent. Sound close? Maybe he was inexperienced before (maybe even a V-club member) and now after time has got some experience and, still liking you, returns with a new sense of confidence. I say give it a shot. Flirt and try it out, but don't sleep with him for a while. If he keeps coming around, then yeah he likes you.

Honey, if he didnt get it from you, he was getting it from someone. And he's an ex for a reason. If you guys live in the same apt complex then you know if he's dated besides you since you've been splitsville. It's hard to tell what exactly he wants. What you should do is whats best for you. Go with your gut feeling, it's very seldom wrong. But sounds like he's trying to lay a huge quilt trip on you to get you to put-out. I think he's too lazy to go out and find anyone on his own, and is trying to use you. BTW......love your name!!! LOL

Sex isn't that sacred anymore. It feels good and is fun, trust me, two years is plenty long enough. It is something to be celebrated and enjoyed, not locked up saved like a treasury bond.
Sex is very important in most mature relationships. It is only important if you are not getting it. If you are getting it, it isn't the only thing. So, once you put out, it won't be that big of a deal anymore.

If sex is a pre-condition in his mind to starting your relationship again, it would be my opinion that he is only after the conquest he did not fulfill the first time around. Shortly after he "wins" this conquest, his interest will wain and you will break up again----promise.
If the relationship was not worth continuing after two years, it is likely not to be worth trying again. My guess is that the only reason BOTH of you may be thinking about doing so is out of convenience and the perceived feeling of comfort entering a relationship with a man you already know.
Step out of your comfort zone, avail yourself to the millions of other men and leave your previous "training" relationships where they belong---behind you.

Well aren't you happy that it's with you that he wants to have sex with, and he waited two years that is not so normal in us guys; guys want to have sex within two months maybe. And this guy waited on you two years and he wants to have sex with YOU and not another woman so I'd say that if you think you really want to get back in a serious relationship with him then go ahead and have sex with him. There is nothing wrong with having sex with someone you may love.

Definitely Not!!! You should never have sex just because you feel pressured that starts an evil cycle of having sex just because he wants it and it will make you become resentful!! You have lay down real strict rules and he has to stick by it!! He has to respect you for all that your worth!!Just stick by your guns no matter how hard it maybe. Explore aspects of your relationship more.Find ways of being intimate in other ways.It will make your sex life in the future amazing!

He finds you attractive enough to want sex. You're about to find out if he respects you enough to wait until you are ready.
"Giving In" is always a mistake. It always creates more problems than it seems to fix.
