Depends on the condition of your hair. . . thick or thin, curly or straight, treated or untreated, etc. etc. There are shampoos and conditioners for all cases. You and your stylist should decide what your needs are and choose.

I use Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. I wash twice with shampoo to get all the dirt out then I apply my conditioner. I leave it on for five minutes. Then I apply deep conditioner (Emergencia) which is really good. Then I style it or hair dry it. I also buy olive cream for my hair and cactus shine. Its alot of products but my hair looks and feels healthy. Always trim your tips every few months.

Wet your hair, Shampoo it about 3 times. Rinse it. Put conditioner on it and put a plastic cap on it and get under the dryer 4 15 minutes(depends on your hair type). Rinse and style.

First, you turn on the water. Get it to a comfortable temp. Stick your head under the faucet and wet your hair. Put a quarter size squirt of shampoo in your hand and rub them together to form a lather. Apply to head and rub through hair. Rinse well. Dime size drop of conditioner. Rub through hair. Rinse well.

Wet hair, lather, rinse with cool water and then add conditioner. If your hair is extra dirty, greasy, then you shampoo twice.

You can pretty much use whatever strikes your fancy. Just make sure to use something made for your hair type.
