Dogma is used when someone is rigidly attached to a set of concepts or beliefs. The literalness of the beliefs and concepts are treated as absolute truth and they often stop the person from ever questioning them or thinking about their implications. The person also tends to use the dogma to rigidly interpret everything in their own lives and others. It's very dangerous for the person because if something occurs in their life or if they do something that is in violation of the rules of their dogma, there's no way out and a person's judgement of themselves and others will reak havoc.

Your dogma is your beliefs or set of beliefs. A dogma is usually a belief or doctrine held by a religion and is usually one that is considered true without any proof. So I think that your boyfriend meant that you have lots of ideas/opinions that have no basis in fact whatsoever!!!

Dogma (the plural is either dogmata or dogmas, Greek δόγμα, plural δόγματα) is the established belief or doctrine held by a religion, ideology or any kind of organization, thought to be authoritative and not to be disputed or doubted. While in the context of religion the term is largely descriptive, outside of religion its current usage tends to carry a pejorative connotation — referring to concepts as being "established" only according to a particular point of view, and thus one of doubtful foundation.

Dog training are excellent and very helpful to build you a stronger relationship with your dog. Read more https://tinyurl.im/ZfOtJ
After I started training my dog, he became very attached to me and loves to stay by side as long as he can. But just going to them won't help. You have to practice what they teach you outside of the class and you need to keep up with it at least every now and then after the class ends otherwise they'll just go back to previous habits. This course is a really good place to go for dog obedience classes. It get's your dog around other people and dogs to socialize while getting the training you need. As for electric collars, I would say to not get one. In my experience, they're only a negative effect on your dog. I mean of course you're going to need to correct your dog, but being positive and encouraging your dog works a lot faster and easier.
Every dog is different, so unless you have a german shepherd or a really smart dog, it might take a while to train her. You might get frustrated with her, but go easy. She's still a puppy and has a lot of energy. A backyard or somewhere to run will help her get rid of a lot of energy that might cause her to misbehave from boredom.

Dogma refers to specific doctrinal beliefs which have been formally defined by a Council of the Church. However, as your boyfriend used the term it simply means beliefs that you are not willing to compromise on.

1. A doctrine or a corpus of doctrines relating to matters such as morality and faith, set forth in an authoritative manner by a church.
2. An authoritative principle, belief, or statement of ideas or opinion, especially one considered to be absolutely true.
I think your boyfriend was using the second definition. Maybe he was saying you always think your ideas/opinions are right?
