The most obvious answer is Orlando, Florida as many have already suggested, it has everything for kids and adults of all ages, and great fun.
If you want somewhere more exotic/culturaly different then go to Asia. Hong Kong is a fabulous city, and with the recent addition of a Disney world it has more than enough for everyone. The culture, the monuments, Great beaches, Boat trips, Disney fun.
It also doesn't have to be that expensive either. If you book early you can get great package deals with most travel agents, and if you book with a reputable company such as Virgin-holidays or BA travel shop, it can be cheap with the added security that you are garunteed to be looked after in the event of problems such as delays/cancellations.

If you do go to Orlando (or anywhere in the US for that matter) as someone else has said make sure your passports are ok for travel. To go to the US these days all passengers inc children need their own passport. The passport also needs to be machine readable (the three lines of code along the bottom of the picture page) and if your passport was issued post OCT 2005 the passport also needs to be digital (with digital picture) if your passport was issued before this date then its all good so long as it is machine readable.

Hope this helps

It seems like your family really enjoys traveling so how about a carribean cruise. You would enjoy different experiences on different islands every day and have plenty of cultures to explore.
Dominca has a beautiful rain forest to hike through, St Thomas for shopping, Barbados and St. Maarten for the beaches and sun., Martinique for the culture and history etc.

Or Disney cruise line sounds very commercial but is worth looking into...Kids would love all the activities and you can relax.

I love cruises. Always have great experiences and great food. Meet lots of nice people also. I have three boys ages 5-9.

We've been to Turkey for the last two years too and we had the idea of renting a motorhome so we can drive overland to France and do a bit of travelling in that way. It will give the freedom of being able to go where you want, when you want and I think it'll be a good laugh.

We've got 2 kids too although at 11 and 12 they are a bit older than yours. If you're interested in doing something like this go on this website for details:- hire@motorholme.co.uk

Hope this helps.

Florida is the most obvious choice ... with the parks for the kids (and secretly the adults as well!!!) and plenty of restaurants, malls and other things to keep ALL entertained ... but it is pricey if you go during school holidays and also the immigration in american airports may be a little uninteresting for the children - plus there is the hassle of making sure you are ok for all the new american border controls eg passport dates ... but it is worth it - i went a couple of years ago - 7 days of over 100 degree temperatures in Orlando ... still is all about what you fancy! if the kids are into disney / movies in general they wil adore it

How about a safari in South Africa? U can visit the Kruger National Park. Vaccinations will be necessary. Your kids will learn loads of things that they will never fore get, you also and if u are from England u will have more than enough sun. U can check the net at www.kruger national park.za Hope u enjoy your holidays no matter where. And o, the rand is low so u can really think about it.

Cos Belfast fly directly to most places you're already saving a good bit. I moved away from Belfast a year ago and its costing me £300 to get back for a couple of days visit every couple of months. Depending on where you want to go and what age the kids are, I would opt for spain etc. Benidorm is good family destination. We took the kids there two years ago and they had a ball and it was really cheap to go self catering.. Try Travelcare 02890 451654 or Thomsons 02890 458623 x x x

Go on a cruise, most cruise lines have a childcare/daycare system where they have all day activities to keep the kiddies busy while you and your significant other enjoy each other. They also have a way of paging you if a problem arises with your kids. I have been on a few cruises and there is plenty to do, eat, and a ton of activities, and depending on the itinerary, plenty of sun.

If you want sunshine and places that are kid-friendly, I would recommend either Orlando (Walt Disney World) or one of the family oriented all-inclusive resorts like the Sandals resorts. I know they have one on the Mexican Riviera Maya, and I think they have one on the Mediterranean Coast in Italy too...
