Im 16 and have never had a bf. I think most guys my age are immature and would prefer an older guy like 17 or 18 but I don't meet many guys that age and I look young for my age so they don't notice me. Any advice?

Don't worry about it. There is someone for everybody. You just have to be very patience. Don't go looking foe boy to go out with let the boys come looking for you and you will know for your heart that you have found the right one.

Please.. please,please,please,please,pl... PLEASE go to the links I have below and read the information there BEFORE you start dating!!!!

Then... AFTER you have read them and done some thinking about
- what would I do if I got pregnant?
- what would my life be like if I had a child?
- do I understand the risks of STDs and am I prepared to protect myself against them?
- what will this do to my reputation?

As for the age thing....

14 year olds should be hanging out with 14 year olds.
17 year olds should be dating 16 - 17 year olds.
18 - 20 year olds should be dating 18 - 20 year olds
21+ can date whoever they feel like

why?

14 year olds are not looking for a sexual relationship - 17+ year olds are

because of birthdays once you hit 17 you should only date those your age or one year yonger - if you date someone 18 then they can get in trouble if somethning happens sexually.

18 - 20 year olds should date with in this range because that way no one is wanting anyone else to buy alcohol for them. It eliminates a lot of the problems.

21+ heck.. go out date anyone you want... that is at least 21.. doesn't matter really .... you are an adult now and can (and should be) held resonsible for anything you do.

Again.. please, please, please look at these links!!!!

My advice... have fun with kinds in your grade.. don't try to "date up". Don't worry about the boyfriend thing... you shoujld really be dating a lot of different guys as often as possible to learn what you like about boys in general, and what they like about you. You are in a 'learning' phase about yourself... so see what you can learn!!! its not all about the bf thing.. thats more of a status than anything else.. what its really about is finding out what you like and what others like about you!

enjoy...be careful... have fun!

age doesn't matter its all in the way guys are brought up, I've been married twice. Both the same age. 8 yrs. younger then i. I believe my first husband will never grow up. the second is wonderful as far as maturity. fallow your heart. you'll know in time.

best thing to do is put yourself out there if the guy you talk to seems to young or immature no matter his age then move on

Just be patient.

By the time you get to college, older boys will be all around you.
