Am going to Dunoon Scotland next week
Anyone know what its like, any decent local pubs or watering holes, where to go etc

Not the most exciting place in the world, but picturesque. Any pub's a good one! I've only visited during the day so never had a beer at all. You'll have a ball anyway!

Get the ferry over to Gourock, from there you can get the train into Greenock (lots of pubs, not bad shopping centre etc.) or head on up to Glasgow for a great day out.

Forget going to Greenock, it's a bit rough! for a good night out, head over to glasgow, loads of pubs and diversity.

Get you a good carry out... and go sit on the banks of the Holy Loch at Sandbank and watch the sun go down...

its a good town, everyone knows everyone!!! have a drink at the clanny, then hit mcclures for a dirty dance floor and loose women!!!!
