dont make a big deal of it! i've always been a fan of making girls laugh, then after a bit ask if they want to go for a drink, if that seems to be going well then suggest grabbing some food, then if that goes well then your away. If she says she cant go for a drink then you have saved on the embarrasment and u can joke that it's her loss. People dont like to be pressured with the big ask. good luck

Well there is actually nothing you can do that will guarantee you a yes. Just be yourself and ask her out. Its not the end of the world if she says no either.

Little man, if you find a guarantee, get the patent on it cause your going to be RICH RICH RICH!!$! I mean, even if she wants you to ask her out, even if she wants to say yes, she may tell you no because she is shy, not interested in you but the attention, etc. Just be as cool and confident as YOU can be.
