Flirting through aggression??????????????
My best friend is always hitting me playfully. She is a girl, I'm a guy, we are 15, and people keep saying she is flirting. Today, for example, she just hit me in the head with a school book (lol) for no reason. We have known each other for 2 years. First off, do you think this actually is her way of flirting? She doesn't do it to other people. And also, what should I do back? Should I also playfully mess around with her?

First of all, the fact that she's a girl doesn't excuse her. Sounds to me like she's got some issues. You need to tell her seriously to stop with the hitting. Something may be wrong there because hitting a guy in the head with a school book isn't exactly the best method of seduction. When does playful hitting turn into hurt feelings and possibly someone getting injured. You should talk to her, ask her why she always feels the need to do that. Maybe she doesn't realize it bothers you.

As a woman, I can tell you this if you haven't figued it out yet... Women are fickle. What we think or feel one day or even one moment, may not be the way we feel later. Take what you have and wait for her to offer more. It really sounds to me like she is being a typical chick though with a wonderful guy friend. She feels "safe" with you chatting, flirting or just "being". Sometime that can be taken the wrong way. My advice is to wait until you have a clearer picture with more signs. If she's saying she values you as a friend and doesn't want to lose that, then that is a great sign.Believe her that that is how she feels for at least the time being. Good luck!

I'd say she's coming onto you. If you're interested, but not into the violence, take her aside, and tell her how you honestly feel about her, and about what she is doing. Maybe she wants a hug, but she's too shy to ask for it.
If you are not interested in being anything more than friends, get her alone, and calmly explain that to her, but be sure to express any positive feeling you have for her, just to let her down easy.

dint hit her at all no punch is a soft punch from a boy to a girl.but yeah she likes you if you like her than the next time you have the chance tell her how you feel.but from man to man it's easier over the phone while you guys are just talking about nothing.

its OK an ex of mine like to stab me with various sharp objects to suggest flirting tell to stop and explain her feelings
by the by how do you feel about her ???
if you have similar feelings tell her and it should stop
if not... empty a box of drawing pins on to her chair as she sits down and events will move in from there

Grab the book, pull her close, and pat her bottom with it about as hard as she hit you. Guaranteed it won't hurt, but the shock just might get you a kiss.

Say to her "thats called playground behaviour" she will ask what you meen then say " its when someone hydes there feelings for you by taking the mick" and see what she says. she wont come out and admit it, she will most probaly respond with another insult or playful hit, in my opinion it sounds like she fancies you. play along!

yes she is fliriting with you yes you should flirt back
when she hits you nugge her or act like it hurt and then when she'll feel bad and try to give you a hug or something grab her and tickle her trust me it'll work like a charm good luck ;)

well to me it sounds like she is becuz com on who in the hell would just hit u with a book and second me if shes a friend then i wouldnt i would just ask her if she does and if she does tjust tell her ure in to dating friends and tell ure sorry
