i have tried clicking buttons on the player but only succeed in replaying the chapter

you can only listen to one chapter at at time. If you would like to listen to other chapters you can just sear for them and whenthey pop up there should be a button, where the other are (previous book, previous chapter, next book, next chapter) that says listen to this passage, click that.
