because you are still eating crap.

Hamburger is very fatty. Pizza can be made healthy but no pizza place does it (make pizza at home). Waffels are also wasted calories with little nutrition and you probably also put syrup on them.

If you need to "healthify" your meals try this, it is still not good but it is better than the crap you are eating. If you really want to get trim then you should educate yourself about nutrition and change your eating habits. What you eat is 90% of weight loss.

1- breakfast
Instead of regular waffles try to find a low-fat whole weat kind that doesn't have any trans fat. Instead of syrup take a small slather of All natural peanut butter (the ingrediants label should have no ingredients except peanuts and water) and fold the waffel in half and put some berries on it (raspberries, blueberries, black berries or strawberries). Or if you don't like whole berries you can mash them up to create a "sauce like substance".

2- lunch
Pizza is very unhealthy when made by pizza stores. how you can change this to make it better is by using a whole wheat pita as a crust (make sure there is no High Fructose Corn Syrup in the ingredients of the pita). Regular tomato sauce seasoned to your taste but you can add some healthy things in the sauce and you won't even notice. Add some powdered flaxseed and you can also add extremely chopped up veggies here. Chop up some brocoli into really tiny parts and add it to the sauce. As far as the cheese goes first get some low fat part skim mozzerella, mix it with another type of cheese like cheddar or parmesian so that there is more taste to it and it encourages you to use as little as possible. The rest you can actually throw veggies on the pizza to add more nutrition.

3- Dinner.
Hamburger- DON'T FRY IT. Buy extra lean 7-8% fat ground beef (I have only seen 99% fat free turkey burger not beef). Or you can switch to veggie burger or ground turkey- however because ground turkey can have as much fat or more than ground beef you need to get the extra lean 1% fat kind. Switch your white bread bun for a whole wheat one (no HFCS) and use all natural ketchup (regular ketchups have High Fructose Corn Syrup in which is 100X worse than regular sugar). Use fat free cheese or low fat flavorfull chese if you must.

Start by getting educated. A good place to start is this book:
Eat Drink and Be Healthy, The Harvard Medical School Guide to Healthy Eating. It is not a diet book, it is a nutrition book (althogh one chapter does discuss diet) that will give you no nonsense information about good foods and what is nutritious and healthy.

Eating healthy and weight loss go hand in hand. You don't want a "canned" diet like Fatkins or south beach or something that doesn't describe the whys of nutrition.

You should also find an excercise plan. One that involves High Intensity Interval Training combined with a weight training plan that is geared towards building lean muscle or toning muscle rather than bulking up (you can't do both at once).

First of all, try to work towards balancing your carbs and protein a little more evenly. Eat some lean ham with your waffles or put peanut butter on them instead of sugary calorie rich syrups. Skip on the pizza entirely, and take a whole wheat tortilla filled with fresh veggies and chicken or turkey, maybe drizzled with a little low-fat dressing. A burger is not a HORRIBLE choice for dinner, unless you are eating fast food. If you use a lean ground beef and cook it yourself on a BBQ or George Forman grill, you can enjoy the goodness without adding all the fat and calories the grease carries. Also- I hope you are taking a vitamin because you have mentioned nothing about fruits and vegetables...? There are some really horrid diseases (like scurvy) that come from vitamin deficiencies. Food variety and vitamins are why people don't die in their thirties anymore. Might want to think about increasing your produce intakes... For variety there, go to your grocery store and think about the rainbow... Get something red (apples, tomatoes, cherries), orange (bell peppers, oranges), yellow (bananas, squash), green (broccoli, salads, kiwi), blue (blueberries), and purple (eggplant, plums). Also think about getting something different everytime you walk through the produce section. You may be surprised at how many things you actually like. Good luck!!! ♥

The amount of white flour you are consuming is amazing.
Where are all the fruits and vegetables?
Waffles, pizza, and burgers ARE junk food. You don't eat anything except junk food.
Change every meal.
Try porridge with fruit and honey for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and maybe a salad sandwich for supper.
And avoid the sodas, and drink water instead.
You will feel fitter, loose weight and always be in a better mood. Cheaper too!

Food consists of certain types of fuel that the body uses in different ways. Waffels and the syrup that goes on them are non-complex carbohydrates (refined flour and sugar) and your body will convert those types of carbs to fat if you aren't physically active enough for your body to convert those carbs to energy. A better breakfast would be scrambled eggs (protein) or a complex carbohydrate like cereal made with whole wheat or oats. You body needs to work harder to digest complex carbs and they nourish your body instead of turning to fat.

Pizza can be okay, but it depends on what it's made of and what you put on it. For instance, cheese is from milk which consists of both carbs and proteins. Science hasn't proven that if you mix too many carbs with proteins, they cancel each other out and turn to fat, but if you watch what you eat, you'll find that they do just that. A better pizza choice would be a veggie pizza made with whole wheat crust and a small amount of low fat cheese. Or better yet, eat a chef salad with a sugar free salad dressing. Use herbs and seasonings for flavor.

Burgers are okay, but the bun is what does you in. Buns are usually made with refined flour and sugar. Try a homemade burger without the bun, but otherwise dress it up like you normally would with lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. If you are hungry for carbs, occasionally eat a baked potatoe with no meat, and put veggies and a small amount of cheese on your potatoe. Use seasonings and herbs to boost flavor. If you're hungry for meat, eat it, but not with potatoes or pasta or bread.

Also a proven key to keeping weight down is to exercise. It doesn't need to be an hour long exhausting session. Just do some fast walking for 15 to 30 minutes, and do that three or four times a day. Don't worry if you can't even do five minutes at first. You'll be able to do more if you are consistent. Your body will automatically want to do more once you start with a few minutes a day and work up from there.

You want to boost your body's ability to use up the food you eat instead of it's turning to fat. If you live in a dangerous neighborhood or the weather is too cold to walk outside, do some quick walking around your house and put the timer on for 15 minutes. Do chores while you're walking so you don't get bored. If you have stairs and your knees are in good shape, walk up and down the stairs several times a day.

Before you start on a new diet and exercise regime though, get a check up because your doctor can rule out whether some of the weight gain is related to hormonal imbalances, thyroid problems, diabetes, or other illnesses. Good luck.

Umm, all of that can be considered junk food. Depending on if the bread is white or wheat. The burger is probably red meat and it takes your body even more time than anything to digest. Your body isnt getting all the nutrients it needs. Please dont say you finish all that with soda or sweetened juices. Another thing is that is to many carbs. Where are your veggies and fruits? Try fruits for breakfast. Pizza can be over 1,000 calories, believe me Ive been there. Oh yeah and dont eat after 8.

A couple of things:
(1) You still may be eating too many calories. I strongly suggest the No S Diet at http://www.nosdiet.com.
(2) Waffles and pizza aren't exactly good for you. One easy rule of thumb: The closer a food is to the way it came out of the earth, the better it is for you. The more processed the food is, the worse it is for you.

Your eating nothing but fatty foods (pizza, burgers, waffles). You need to change your eating habits and start excercising. Do you drink alot of soda? It's okay to eat pizza and burgers sometimes but not on a daily basis. It's not healthy to eat that way anyway.

Waffles, pizza and burger are all super high fat foods.

Do you exercise?

Here is a good diet suggestion:
bkfst - fruit yogurt and toast, or fruit smoothie, or oatmeal
lunch - grilled chicken sandwich
dinner - veggies and low fat protein source

Waffles: carbohydrate (flour) and sugar.
Pizza: carbohydrate (flour) and salty meat or salty cheese.
Burger: carbohydrate (flour) and fried meat (unless it's grilled).

If you notice, you eat a lot of carbohydrates which the body stores (energy source) and appears as extra flesh.
Sugar in excess is also stored in the body.
Salt retains water, thus increases your weight unnecessarily. Water by itself is fine but salt hoards water.
Fried food is full of oil that your body will store as fat.

Please go to your local library and look up the basic food groups. It would be very helpful.

In the meantime, please have more fruits and vegetables in your diet, and increase your physical activity.

We can all improve ourselves, all it takes is dedication.

We wish you well.
