babies are made when a man puts his penis into a woman's vagina and some very special cells called sperm comes out of his penis and goes into the woman's vagina. The sperm then swim into the woman's fallopian tubes where there is an itty bitty egg. When a sperm finds the egg, the egg and the sperm join together and create a baby. The baby grows inside its mother for about 9 months and then it is born by coming out of the mother's vagina or in some cases through an operation where the doctor removes the baby through the mother's belly. Having sufficient prenatal care, taking prenatal nutrients, treating STDs and fending off medicines and alcohol might lower the chance of getting a baby with a bodily deformity, however a few are simply flukes of nature and in spite of the moms and dads doing the whole lot correct a youngster can actually be born with a deformity.

If you don't know, maybe mommy and daddy need to set you down for "the talk." It's okay to confront them and tell them that you're ready to know more about life. (Unless you're like 5 or something... then the answer is wait a few years.)
