I think we should... this "don't stoop to their level but rise above it" I wonder how they suggest rising about what they do to the soldier's families.... all because the old man doesn't like homosexuals. I think his funeral should be done the same way they have done others... I wish I had the time and money to get people together to picket Every little thing they do. Their homes, their church, everytime they show up at a funeral.... they go friggin grocery shopping, follow them thru the store with T-Shirts depicting how they will burn in hell.

Phelps is a fool no doubt. Every group that even remotely resembles a Baptist organization has denounced him.
I agree with the answer above--go picket his services this Sunday.
By the way-what idiot allows him a permit to demonstrate? They don't have to give him a permit. The whole purpose of permits is for control. Don't give him a permit, then arrest everyone involved if they do demonstrate. Why don't the local officials have any guts-they can stop this idiot.

If i happen to be in the area at the time....Yeah.

I only read about these wacko's yesterday being that im in the uk. They are the one of the reasons religion should be banned. If people can have sick views like theirs and protest at other peoples funerals they should expect a mass protest at their own.

I was thinking of the Phelps this morning. They will soon meet with an event that will curtail their hateful activities. All we need to do is wait. Because? They have gone TOO FAR.

i admire the persons who gown up as angels with vast wings and stand in front of him while he "protests." Their wings are so super which you won't be able to see Phelps and his hate-crammed indications with the aid of them, and that they generally sing hymns so as which you won't be able to pay attention Phelps yelling. i've got faith that those silk-winged all of us is the only angels who ever walked the earth, and that they have got performed such good for the persons who're mourning their family individuals and don't could desire to be bombarded with Phelps' hatred. perhaps, in case you felt a could desire to mark his dying, you're able to gown as a sort of angels at his funeral and sing a hymn.

I realize this is not a good christain attitude, but I think most people would be too relieved by this death to even bother protesting. He certainly isn't worth the effort.

No, it would not be alright. Everyone has the right to grieve. We have a choice to make - are we going to stoop down to their level or are we going to rise above.
