I was approached by this woman this morning at a coffee shop, didn't recognize her at first, then realized that she was the head cheerleader 20 yrs ago. Still looks pretty good, problem is, she turned me down once for a date....should I hit and leave, or just let her down nicely?

Karma, my friend, will bite you in the butt if you do something ugly. Be a decent human & let her down nicely. It doesn't take any more time to be nice than it does to be ugly. Something that happened 20 years ago is water so far under the bridge that it's been recycled into something else by now - so let it slide. Who knows, she may even have already "gotten hers" for having turned you down! You just never know . . .

I think ixi26c is right. It was a long time ago, so put it behind you.

Once you've done that, you can decide whether or not to go out with her and get to know her now. You might really hit it off. Never blow a chance at true happiness by being petty or small-minded, I say. Life's too short.

Revenge is kind of for middle schoolers! I'm not trying to be rude but I don't think it's a good idea to sink down to that level now. If you still like her, maybe get to know her. If you're not interested, don't do anything.

I think you should talk of the past and ask her why she turned you down. Then let her down nicely. >:)
If you hit and leave for revenge then you are an old ****** who is still a child.

Maybe she's sorry for turning you down back then and wants to make it up to you. I say give her a chance and go out with her. Who knows? You two might have a great time together.

OMG 20 years ago she rejected you. oh my!!!!! ever think that maybe she has changed. I say if you want to get to know her go out with her. revenge on someone from 20 years ago is a little petty.

sure..go out with her..see what happens..if you two get intimate, great! but do not go out with her with the intention of leaving so abruptly. just see what happens. a lot can happen in 20 years..you two may be totally different people now, and you andh er may actually gel. so, see what happens. it may even turn into something meaningful and wonderful.

See dude it all depends on how you are-whether you want to be called as good or bad. If you wanna be good then just ignore her.
I did the same thing with a girl i faced almost the same incident... just ignored her thats all.
In my opinion please do the same
