Have them arrested. Go to the police department, and file a report for a warrant. Anyone who threatens the life of another is committing a terroristic threat. It should not be taken lightly, although threats are usually just that, they can and do escalate into actual events. Also, I would make sure that my teen was not hanging out with someone that is violent, nothing good could possibly come from that.

I would report it. It dosent hurt even it was just a idle threat. To many kids now days say it and mean it.
